There are cosmetic witch hats from hallow’s end, and can be transmogged all year round.

There is a quest that gives you hats but that’s a hollow’s end quest in that haunted town in Legion.
If you’re looking for pointy hats, there’s a few wizard hats that might do…I don’t think they update in your appearances tab as I just looked and didn’t see the witch’s hat, which means it’s probably sitting in the bank of one of my toons.

I just want a white or gray wizard hat so I can do a good Gandalf the Gray or Gandalf the White transmog. I can’t find any tho, sadge.

Oooh I like that white one, that could totally work for a Gandalf the White mog. Which hat is that? I can’t find it on the list of hats from the link you posted. Also I have gone thru all the cloth helms in-game with MogIt multiple times, never saw this white hat. Is it an alliance only hat by chance?

Sorry about that. Might want to keep an eye out for the trading post or possibly even the grey/trash items. I know I kept one trash bit around because I loved the look of it and would wear it when I knew I was just going to mooch around the cities.
It could be the trash stuff isn’t well documented because we couldn’t transmog them before.

Yeah good suggestion with the gray/white items. I don’t think I have actually looked thru all those since they made those moggable, I’ll look into that.
Love me some big 'ol floppy hats. Need more wizard gear in game.

Bigger question is WHY was it removed? It was added in Mists. I could understand if it had been added pre Cata with the world/quest revamp… Anything after is rear end bull cookies in my opinion.
