So many games have pros and cons to them vs WoW but if someone took all the pros and rolled them into one game it would be absolutely glorious.

Yeah I wish FFXIV had WoW’s transmog system and more alt friendliness for sure. I LOVE the dye system in FFXIV though. WoW also does have more of a variety of races (though I would DIE for FFXIV Xaela… I love them as much as San’layn) & deeper race stories (aside from Xaela who have an entire zone gods I love them.) FFXIV would benefit from having playable half-elves, as they look GORGEOUS.
FFXIV also has housing which beats WoW in my eyes by a landslide. Community is also WAY WAY better, from what I’ve experienced, especially toward collectors & roleplayers.
…however. Collections are NOT account wide so as an alt-aholic, it REALLY sucks with respect to that.
It really does suck how each game has really powerful strengths & weaknesses. If WoW could ACTUALLY LISTEN to a part of their community other than top-end raiders/M+, beyond just ‘here’s some hair colors and the literal bare minimum every single time’ then maybe they would draw people in. But that would require them to take other communities seriously, and quite frankly, we see the attitude on GD on the regular where “COLLECTORS AND ROLEPLAYERS AND CASUALS ARE NOT REAL GAMERS, WE SHOULD GIVE THEM NOOOOOTHING” and Blizzard eats that up, so yeah.

I’m still hoping they are going to add some more additions to 9.2 but if they did I reckon they’d be more allied race stuff. Hopefully more pandaren things too

Honestly … I really like the chin spike for my Warlock. It is dainty! Combined with the upturned eyebrows and blade-like ears, I think it makes her like a very fetching lady version of Satan.

Just was doing the sunfury raid on a max for fun and noticed the https://www.wowhead.com/npc=25506/shadowsword-lifeshaper#screenshots:id=431483 which has light green hair, would be pretty neat! (Dunno if this has been mentioned here already or not.)

I find FFXIV to be more alt friendly. Since I can have all my jobs and professions on one character.

I’d like to see those hair colors if they add felblood elves as options.
Though that ones not bad for a regular belf imo.

Not really because you are on a different job. But I also have three characters and going through the story a few times wasn’t bad because I could then skip most cutscenes.
Also in this game, leveling is the focus, not endgame. There isn’t much endgame. So the journey is the game.

I’m hopeful 9.2 will also add in some more customization options. We are in the pretty early testing of 9.2
Ok after seeing the datamined Sylvanas cinematic all elves should have an option for regular looking eyes.

It wasn’t the first time she was shown with those eyes. It was the same in the Warbringers cinematic. And elves have been shown with those eyes before. Especially High Elves.

Yeah not sure why they didn’t give her a glow. They literally retconned non-glowing eyes ages ago.

She has a glow upon awakening. Soul Sylvanas just shows as old Sylvanas before the Lich King killed her and tortured her soul.
I’m almost at the point where I don’t think their lore matters anymore. My elf would look great with those eyes
