What I want most for Blood Elves personally is red and pink eyes and pink and burgundy hair colors everything else I usually put in my customization lists is extra for either myself or others but I still do hope that we eventually get San’layn and Dark Rangers as either customizations for Blood Elves or as separate Allied Races for the Horde.

A Machanical race could come from Blood Elves and Golems are created through magic.
/I chose to edit instead of bumping;
The Blood-Queen Lana’thel who is deceased according to lore. When one asks how could a new race be introduced.
This leads us to her daughter Blood-Princess Thal’ena who could be the gateway into creating such new race with her Vampyr’s Kiss and like from time to time these new San’layn would lose control with a sort of uncontrollable frenzy (as it is written) but all the while infected with Essence of the Blood Princesss that changes them into Vampyr known as San’layn.
The question though who would she kiss? Why would it be Blood Elves and not Forsaken who are already undead. Now Sylvanas seems to have changed paths with nolonger needing to raise more Forsaken.
Then could it be that the Forsaken continue to envolve (now growing skin) Sylvanas
still their leader & becoming infected with this Essence from the Blood Princesss that could be perhaps passed onto Sylvanas?
Then thinking back about that comment from Lor’themar directed to Sylvanas as Forsaken still need to replace their army.
For San’layn be introduced as a playable race, I though rather it come from a rised ElvenUndead where Sylvanas still has control over Forsaken and the ability to contrinue with building an army of undead. After all San’layn are undead that look like blood elves.

Honestly for me personally I look at it realistically because if San’layn are ever added to being playable more than likely it will be a typical Blizzard type of direction where they will go the easiest route possible which means character customizations on Blood Elves, however I would be okay with Undead getting a model toggle for San’layn or San’layn being their own separate Allied Race just as long as San’layn are eventually added and playable on the Horde I will be happy. 
As for the lore part in which they are added isn’t all that important to me because I learned from the whole Void Elf getting our customizations you can pretty much spin anything into anything and have Blizzard run with it if they really want to.

Like I would settle for Night Elf fangs as an option in the barbershop and the rest is made up rp.
We have the both the looks and the cloths to make that happen if we only had the fangs.

I would say we need a bit more than just fangs added but it would be pretty easy for Blizzard to do because most of the San’layn and Dark Ranger customizations already exist for Blood Elves it’s a matter of Blizzard enabling them for player customizations instead of just for NPC’s. 
I legit always mess with them in the Wowhead dressing room.

It does seem easier when your character is wearing cloth, though I might have a mail set suited for this small project of becoming a San’layn.

I’m in the camp that skintones, hair colors, red eyes, fangs, claws, etc. would go and will go a long way with finishing the look of San’layn and Dark Rangers regardless of armor type which comes back to customizations for Blood Elves and anyone that tries to push the whole light aspect just doesn’t like that we could go the RP route like Void Elves did with normal options because that’s all they are is RP options.

Sylvanas isn’t still the leader though. Even if her soul was split, she needs to face consequences for her actions. It would really suck if she went back to being a horde leader as if she hasn’t committed so many atrocities.

I’m starting to think this isn’t going to happen, I mean I hate saying that but if that was her in the preview to the upcoming patch she’s gonna be changed to be another one of the neutral helpers which is really gross.

Your character looks great and yes, red eyes would look amazing with that set.
I also love the glowy shoes, that just caught my eye with second look, I approve. 
I can only agree but also find it hard to judge Sylvanas.
I want San’layn so bad 
I hope they at least give us red eyes, fangs, dark undereye shadows, scars, etc.

Right now it is rather difficult to become one unless your character is undead or death knight perhaps?
I tried with this Hunter, but I’m not undead. San’layn are undead.
/sad face, might go change now.
If you are looking for a mail set to use for that I recommend using the Eagletalon Battlegear Mythic set, it even gives you red eyes if you don’t hide the helm, I used to use it on my Hunters before I deleted them and remade all my characters as Warlocks like this one.

I honestly just want to throw some of that First One Progenitor power into the Sunwell to see what happens.
Perhaps a new egg will be delivered and inside this egg is a Red Dragon.
Blood Elves learn how to transform into red dragons.

Yes please!!! I have always wanted to main a character like Alexstrasza because she’s legit my number one favorite lore character. 
I hate to double post but I felt these both needed to be linked in our thread again because really San’layn and Dark Ranger Allied Races or customizations for Blood Elves would be great.
Lots of the stuff wanted in both customizations has evolved since the start of both threads but as someone that is super supportive of both threads I decided to start at the beginning.

I feel very little enthusiasm for the game at the moment. Seems like there won’t be more customization until 10.0 at the earliest.
