Big Blood Elf Customization Thread

Yeah that makes sense and is some excellent lore backstory anyhow, I love it. Torn earns I’m not as hung up on anyway like I am with general scarring, and of course tattoos. What tattoos, I dunno, but it’d be nice to have the option.

One of the few things I truly liked about the Warcraft movie was the scene where Gul’dan used drain life on the prisoner. It was so metal and exactly how I imagined it would be like.

Yeah, I’m going to admit that while that movie had its flaws, I did enjoy it. That effect was super neat, and you’re right there entirely.

<---- rogue here, kinda hard to “drain life” from other beings in my toon´s case. Ergo, all the damaged ears available for me, pl0x.

1000% in agreement. also, if you can help us comission this kind of art I´d truly appreciate it, Fallynn.

Btw, Thanks, Fen!!

The blood elf paladin mount is in desperate need of a re-do lol it bothers me so much. I think having a creature closer to their heritage/lore would be way cooler than another horse. They could use a hawk strider model but make it have fiery/golden accents. The feather tips on the hawk strider could have fiery effects like the balance of power hunter bow (https://www.wowhead.com/news/balance-of-power-artifact-appearance-unlocked-259564#screenshots:259564:12) but have the ashes of alar color gradient. Maybe more like a Phoenix hawk strider hybrid?

Lovefool triggered my imagination about ombre hair, and some looks I’d like to see for all races.

Coursers are used for smaller groups/organizations in RP, Hawkstriders if you’re part of Silvermoon City.

The customization would be very easy to do. Wildhammer-dwarves are bit less muscular and taller. They can already do both of these scaling option in the game.

I’m in love with all of those!

You say this as if this was a general rule and not just the convention of a specific group of rpers.

i just watched a bellular video where he suggested turalyon may attack silvermoon, and if he does, alleria has only 2 choices. yikes. just for future reference, if alliance players are forced to attack quel’thalas, i’ll go play something else.

All my night elves have damaged ears now, because my gang is rough and tumble.

…Except my mage, because he’s better than the rest. Or at least better at ducking.

Honestly, I’d take more. My main is a one-eyed scarred up disaster of a night elf, and she’s missing part of one ear.

(More scars for everyone, please. Especially dwarves. But also worgen scars that match the human scars so THEY CAN HAVE THE SAME SCARS IN BOTH SHAPES IT’S SO ANNOYING.)

And I am annoyed that orcs are the only ones with decorative scarifications, and some of those are underwhelming. I would LOVE rune scarification for my blood elves.

Believe me, had the devs actually deployed a Belf customization pass with the runic tattoos /scarifications, scars + damaged ears, red eyes and maybe some Hordish warpaint instead of the gaudy, useless and underwhelming “jewerly”, the Belf fans -like myself- wouldn´t have bothered with the stuff the Helf fans demanded cause our toons would had already looked unique enough to not resent sharing the skin and hair colors.

Nowadays we basically have to fight for this cause some of them are real trolls wanting to basically poach any and every suggestion made in this place ffs. Wonder why the toxicity and dislike between both fanbases reached the current status it is in?/s

I’ve pretty much decided unless someone slips me a 20, I’m not going to engage in DRAMA ON THE HIGH INTERNET.

I’m definitely going to keep asking for cool customizations (for everyone) because that’s fun. But I have neither time nor patience for elf wars. Also, it’s more fun to cheer than jeer.

Most of the time.

I get involved more than I want to but am trying to step away from it more and more. I just want my bloody vampire elves on the Horde x.x

My main interest, as someone who plays every bloody race in this game, is more customizations.

They can’t add anything without it potentially benefitting me, either because I’ll want to use it or someone else will, making my characters stand out and other people happy. So my fiendish plot is basically to keep chit chatting on all the customization threads.

And somehow that will get me scars for dwarves.

I hope you get scars for dwarves too  I’m surprised there is no dwarf thread!

We’re an easy going people.

Dwarf threads begin and end with people saying dwarves are cool, and anyone who disagrees is wrong and can therefore be ignored.

Tell me about it, ergo me taking one page from Fallynn´s book and putting most of the people I highly disliked on ignore.

I just despise the fact they can bypass my choice with alts… the account wide ignore feature for the forums should be back ASAP.

Scars is one of those customizations that should be present for all races. Jewerly should NOT had been ever a customization but a tmog feature (I bet you we all would have gotten waaay more variety that way).

Dwarves get criminally ignored as per the narrative -no seriously, the actual High King should had NOT been Blanduin the Shonen Hero Ripoff but Muradin. The Dwarves are probably the most stable and “rich” Alliance race nowadays, the devs should have pulled a Vanilla post Legion and made them the “leading” combo.

If Paladins are the speed of light, are Blood Knight Paladins faster than the speed of light cause they wear red?

I have come to like the lore hole.

I’ve made no secret that my favorites are orcs, night elves, trolls and dwarves.

After seeing orcs perpetually bludgeoned with the villain bat and then whiplashing back with, “MUH HONOR” and night elves being Worf’d every time we need to know that the villain is serious or the Horde is mean (with a hearty helping of idiot sauce to go with it), I’m genuinely pretty okay with dwarves and trolls being the cool friends in the background. Far, far in the background and safe from the plot.

Though Ironforge always should have been the Alliance capital. Who wants to live in a city that keeps getting wrecked when they could live in an impregnable volcano fort?
