Golden and red for Belves. With some green accents (stones).
I keep thinking it should be Gold but then I’m like ‘But they’re from SILVERmoon, why isn’t there more Silver’
Silvermoon is just a name taken after Silverymoon from D&D. It’s not meant to be taken literally. It’s just a reference. Everything in Silvermoon is as golden as the sun. Being that we are sun elves, it should reflect our banner colors.
And yet I was indirectly questioned for why I was here earlier sharing the new 9.1.5 customization
I could address this but I won’t since I wasn’t who commented on your customizations so not sure what to say because I’m sure you are already aware how many of the people in this thread feel about you.
I’m just pointing out the hypocrisy nothing more, not from you. Nothing to continue on it. Regardless of one’s feelings for another, it was silly.
I get the same type of thing from people when I go to the Void Elf customization thread even when it’s for a legitimate reason and on top of that Fen is my friend but most of the others that post there dislike me so it happens and not just to you.
Which I’ll always find silly
Because it is, lol, also at least you can count on me not to hate on you if you come to this thread so I guess there’s that at least.
To be fair, from WC3 the colors used were mostly a…teal? (seafoam green?) color and silver (iirc). I always had a giggle when first seeing Silvermoon fully red because I thought to myself that these elves really prioritized repainting their city over rebuilding it.
Hope you get it, it’s a no brainer and Blizzard not utilizing the customization unlock scenario (like the Night Warrior) would be a missed opportunity. Need more racial driven scenarios > faction stories imo.
Take your pick?

Definitely the second. Red makes everything faster.
I think I’d rather have the hawkstrider. All the other paladins have unique race specific mounts, and hawkstriders are the racial mount, not coursers.
…I never noticed that (the repainting).
Man, that is… Like, peak short elf.
I don’t play Paladin but I’ll pick the second one because it looks cool and it’s my style color and decoration wise, plus it would work really good for if Blood Elves get San’layn/Dark Ranger customizations as a San’layn/Dark Ranger Paladin.
I would accept the hawkstrider if it got an update, but at the moment with its low quality, it looks too goofy for me to like. The armored ones are okay, but I know what it looks like under that armor.
It probably would. The new mounts for pallies all got updates. Just the old human and blood elf chargers that didn’t.
I want to like hawkstriders, but they just look so tragic. I almost like the tallstrider mounts more just because the balance on them is a bit goofy.
And I hope whatever blood elves get when they get the update looks at least as good as MY FABULOUS DWARF PALADIN’S RAM. Which is fantastic.
I swear, your excitement is single-handedly making me like dwarves more. Not that I didn’t before, I have a DID (but need to research their lore a bit more for her story if I ever actively play the game again). But I absolutely adore your enthusiasm and it always makes me smile.
My sanity is largely contingent on seeing the glass as half full.
And beer.
But, especially when it comes to fiction and video games, I have an easier time of it if I keep on the bright side. Hating things and getting mad at them is so much work. Picking up on the things I enjoy and treasuring them beyond all reason keeps me from swirling around the hate vortex that has infested so many fandoms. Of course, that means I occasionally have to roll my eyes and move on when a writer picks something I, personally, find hugely grating. And if finding the good is too much work, I bounce. It’s a hobby, not a job.
sometimes I forget of course
