I don’t think that would be as prevalent as you might fear it to be. I don’t pay attention to racials in regular grouping at all, and if someone has that much of a problem with being grouped with the other faction, Fallyn’s suggestion of having a faction mode could work wonders.

I think sith empire in swtor is iconic for that very reason, I do tend to like the more morally grey factions too in general as far as any story telling goes or lawful evil maybe depending on the genre and setting

For real, I have always loved in SWTOR that you get to pick at the end of stuff which way you go whether it’s morally good or morally bad.

I hated KOTOR 1 evil because of the mission / zaalbar scene and iykyk so I feel you sometimes it doesn’t feel accurate?
I like the choices in swtor though bcz you can make the choices you want but it not be forced weird like that KOTOR 1 scene I referenced which I hated sm
On a side note I did enjoy the loyalist arch in WoW and wish they hadn’t written Sylvanas the way she was written I preferred her as like a chaotic evil protector of the Horde figure

there’s also lfr and m+ and etc.
oh i see it as a huge issue. for example, a nelf in a random queue is paired with 2 orcs, a forsaken and a troll. no problem, nelfs have good racials. same scenario but a dark iron. no problem, dark iron have good racials. same scenario but a normal draenei or a gnome, omygosh gnomes, poor things would put a whole new spin on gnome punting, and …get this, 4 belfs and a velf gets paired, and they are using helfer colors.
game would melt down the rest of the way
Eh, I think you’re thinking too hard about a scenario that may never happen. I think it would generally be positively received
I still hate what her story has become it’s so … like not good for anyone the people who dislike her story anyways or her fans.
Yeah I worry about what’s next for her. I want her in the story still, and I don’t want her redeemed
These are totally different types of content because with M+ people pick who they want so if they didn’t want a Gnome or Void Elf in group they just wouldn’t accept them, where with LFR most people don’t care what race, class, etc. you are as long as they get through content and you are doing something not just AFKing.
just look at this thread? or look at helfer threads. the first time i get booted from a random because i rp a helf, is the last time i play this game. got enough bs in real life. not gonna pay money for it in the form of entertainment
Do you normally go into dungeons and start RPing? I barely say a word in random dungeons.

Yeah that’s about it unless people want to talk about mechanics etc. if someone likes to RP in dungeons, maybe creating a group for themselves in group finder saying they want to RP and what they play as would be beneficial in this hypothetical scenario.

People are sometimes mean just for the sake of being mean, I have always been in the camp as someone that once did high content then just casual stuff that everyone is playing to have fun and that we all have to start somewhere so if someone is doing something wrong or doesn’t know what to do, don’t yell or scream at them explain and then they will learn, it’s just as simple as that.

Again, I don’t pay attention to what others are playing as in dungeons. Maybe that’s just me? Unless they start a dialogue about it I don’t think I’d notice.
