BGs have finally died

Why I said from me personally of my opinion it’s stale. Didn’t say it was inactive just that to me I’ve lost interest in pvp overall because it’s too little content for the length of time.
Coupled with the stun cc spam it’s turned into it’s just not fun to me.

BG(s are pretty busy

Bwahaha… one month later…

I actually miss playing random BG’s back in BfA and prior. Felt like way less games were thrown (refusing to Rez and waiting it out) and you had a fighting chance each time. Could just be rose tinted glasses, or maybe I’m just cheeks at this game now.

Casual content isn’t allowed to be fun or rewarding. You can only have fun if you dedicate a full time schedule to this game.

This is new news? I don’t think I’ve done a bg in at least 5 years.

i agree, as a long time pvper it’s really disheartening. there have been no new exciting bgs, like even one new bg per xpac would be more than enough but we all know blizz just wants to kill pvp for some reason. plus cheating in arenas is at an all time high rn.

but, i mean, ur talking about unrated content. RBGs is what REALLY makes me mad. its so easy to make it solo or duo queue but they keep teasing it and never actually releasing it as actual rated content, just as a brawl. i’m sick and tired of grinding arenas against boosters and broken metas, i wanna get rating in RBGs but pugging them was one of the most miserable experiences in this game lmao

pvp has been dead since mop unfortunately, if not earlier :frowning:

This is the absolute truth. Minimum viable product. And that’s not just pvp.

This is false.

There’s always one bitter little grouch who can’t imagine that others enjoy content they don’t. You must be fun at parties.

Blizzard devs don’t really understand how to make something new. I’d settle for new skins of existing enjoyable battlegrounds like the existing CtF maps.

how have they died

perpetual field of strife clashes…
old time digital carnage.

“Guys build vehicles!” Everyone proceeds to just fight in the middle. "Why is noone building vehicles?? 40 minutes of fighting in the middle. DEFEAT

in which bg

Fighting is more fun? Zug zug.

When I go into any bg my goal is fun. I often play a healer in bgs and I just follow the top damage done because they go to the action.

If I que as dps I just follow the healer with the most healing done.

Why do people who have no pvp achievements who clearly don’t pvp come to tell people that content they don’t interact with is dead?

You don’t have any experience to base that off of, pup.

Hunters farming bots in BGs is nothing new. Blizzard doesn’t balance around random BGs.

See above.

Good healers require setup to kill bad ones don’t. How it’s supposed to be.

Get a better pc

when i do a BG I use my night elf hunter

we all know why

ranged damages dealer with some nice abilities that allow average players to stay alive. I don’t even change his build,
if i am really out classed and no one is playing as a team i can hide till the the BG is over or if its going well and we are working as a team I can contribute without dying so often.

If most people are like me this is a nice combo, survivability and damage.

I mean ive all those things and I can tell you its in a bad spot…

Conquest gear shouldn’t cost anything and be free and completely unrestricted. Queuing as a group for random battle grounds needed to die in vanilla. There is zero excuse for why a new pvp player is facing premade consistently in random battlegrounds. 2s and 3s are effectively dead but blizzard wont move rewards to the successful solo queue likely because its not " esports".

Pvp has issues and I dont think solo queue for random rated battlegrounds. Is going to go well.

I don’t disagree at all that pvp has issues. There’s a plethora of 'em.

I only responded to the other reply because it was one of those stupid replies from someone who doesn’t partake in pvp asserting it’s dead because the GD forum has a weird hard-on for hating pvp.

The guy said there’s a lot of slows and cc in pvp and used hyperbole to compare it to having a slow computer, and all you saw was “lag” and “ping” and read nothing else. Impressive.

Did…did you not read the actual concern?
