BGs as Alliance aren't fun

What?

10 char

You would think so but I was going on multiple 10 game win streaks. At first I thought I was just lucky but we were just rolling. I’m not pulling these numbers out of thin air either as my reflex was bathed in green when I was on horde.
I’ll always remember being super low health in twin peaks as I was kiting a hunter around a tower some boomkin came up and healed me to full. That doesn’t happen to me ever on alliance side.

Limited vision. No early call outs for defending. Can’t see what you’re up against from 100s of yards away if you’re planning to attack a node.

I don’t have an imgur account and my reflex keeps resetting possibly because I updated it. There was a thread on the BG forums where I think pipikula posted a win ratio similar to mine.

I’m sorry, but I think you’re missing the whole thing here. Just a couple of months ago I won 90% of all my BG’s now I’m lucky if I win 10 a week. now the hordes Q has skyrocketed, could it be that a lot of the good alliance players have jumped to the horde side.

One thing I notice on the AB brawl horde call out Incs and I have seen liberal use of gliders for defense. Even with limited vision I see a lot of horde use them. Faster defense. I even use them and pop spirit walkers grace to start healing the defenders before i even touch the ground.

I hardly ever see alliance use gliders for more than just escape, if that. Even with the low visibility I think horde still likes LM just for the express defense delivery.

They should just add bots on ally side. Might do better than humans.

Christ, at this point I’d be thrilled with a .33 win rate on my ally toon. It’s much lower. So bad I think I’m done logging on that toon for a while.

I do believe there was a mass exodus when they lowered the faction transfer cost. I on the other hand went blue because i like a challenge and I have gotten it in spades.

Hmmmmmmmmm

I love my gliders, pretty much use them off cooldown whenever I see an opportunity. I don’t think its something that’s caught on as much on the Alliance side though. At the beginning of AB I can glide down to mines and reach it before the flag has time to zone in, takes about half a second before it will let me click it to start capping.

I honestly don’t know what to do other than school people when I go into a BG. In the Arathi Blizzard I always start off by saying “Hello”… you wait for responses. This establishes some friendliness first, so it doesn’t seem like you’re a know it all jerk. Then you simply say, “Call incs because the snow is so thick and we can’t see if you’re in trouble. Communication is key.” And go from there. Take lead if nobody else does it. I notice that when the team is chatty and communicating, you’re more likely to win.

Alliance has always been the underdog I guess that’s why I like being Alliance so much.

I keep getting zero communication and it’s the main problem in BGs so far for me today. Incs called over 7 times and not a soul showed up or reads the chat.
1200 points into it and then they start talking but only to complain or say they are leaving?

Only one defender left at each base too. From what I can tell if you leave 3+ to defend the brawl is pretty easy.

Those are just the first of the day though. Wish me luck.

You must’ve not played during WoD

This is the only game I have played since 2007.

Then you know this isn’t true :joy: Emfh pretty much broke the game back then; everyone was rolling humans and stomping horde. Nearly every bg I got in was 9-14 humans and myself, an adorable pink-haired gnome.

Alliance was higher pop in Vanilla and the later part of WoD.

That is two times out of how many? It is routinely the lower pop and saying it was high pop once does not make a difference to now or any of the many other times it has been lower pop to horde.
