BGs are broken

If you have 360+ ilvl then you have a serious advantage. Casuals and hardcore raiders/pvpers are currently mixed and it sucks. If you disagree it means you have a high item level and you want to be over powered.

The reality is that not everyone is hardcore and has endgame gear yet.

Why are people in endgame gear 360+ playing people with 300-330?
There should be matching involved here, where people in 330 play each other. People in 340 play each other. 350, 360, 370, etc.

Also why are premade groups mixed with randoms? Its unfair and no fun. 9 out of 10 games my team loses, horde and alliance. The answer is not "get in a premade forhead" "get good" "get better gear". The answer is closer to Matching based on qualifying characteristics like ilvl and premades vs premades only.

A fresh 120 ilvl280 and fight a person in ilvl380 how is this fun? for anyone? Even the 380 would rather fight similar ilvls for a challenge. It just gets old either getting owned or owning. That is... unless you are 12 and have no conscious.

This is what everyone wanted when they complained about gear making no difference in PvP, and templates being terrible. You guys wanted your "hurr durr durr" secondary stats, now power creep is a serious issue. This was predicted and told to you over and over, and you all just banged home the secondary stat argument till you got your way.

No you are wrong. Item level doesn't make much of a difference aside from healers. The pvp dev gave us a ms paint drawing explaining it. Scaling magic.

RIP templates. this issue is caused by the fact that people would rather pwn noobs than have a fair game and they cried up a storm about templates, and blizzard listened.

My ilevel is 370, give or take a few points depending on what i equip. I promise you I am not a hard core raider. Nor am I hard core PvP'er.

Because the 330 players are too lazy or too stubborn to do any anything besides random BG's. At this point, if you are stuck at 330, it's on you.

Welcome to the initiation into old school PvP. Aka you suck til you gear out, and then you can compete.

But to be honest, because there is no resilience or pvp power, you should probably grind out world quests and other means of getting gear unless you truly want to just bang your head against a wall til you get gear.

yeap... laziness in a video game... I think people forget its a recreation activity and shouldn't needed to be treated like a job to keep up...

Work an 8 hour day... then come home cook dinner, clean catchup with friends, look after children / pets plus what ever your choice is to keep fit....

No some of us don't have time to be organised enough to play rated pvp.. but no they are the lasy ones... good laugh ;)

Hi. Most of the characters I play are in the 340-350ilvl range. I disagree with you.

And you're 355...do you think that 5 ilvl difference is holding you back somehow?
looks at 76k hp player...

I love the "I have a family/job/etc/etc" argument as to why they dont have gear.

I work a full time job, go to the gym, cook my own food... The only difference between me and you is I dont have kids.

I only played about 8 hours last week. I got my mythic+ done, did enough games to get my pvp reward for the week, also did a majority of the world quests.
Just hit 120 recently....

Even in lower ilvl gear, I do fine.

At 330ilvl now. Took maybe a week from fresh. Do the rares in Arathi, dungeon, pvp cap, all for leaps in gear.
No free rides in life or WoW. It’s called a meritocracy, ma trash. Reward for nothing and artificial level playing fields is a joke and lets be real, you can get gear that will make you competitive enough to kill anything in a variety of ways and its easier than ever before.

You could simply do WQ’s and get 355+ azurite gear. Frankly you want a level playing field and take away what others have worked to get which is nearly handed to you, so that you can not have skill and feel good about what you do when you havent done the minimum it takes to get what you want.

No skill or effort=no gear=less fun time.
Thats how it is IRL too. Wait are you one of those people looking for free handouts in life too? No free !@#$ IRL or otherwise.

Oh and my ilvl i only 358, and if you had knowledge you would know ilvl in pvp isnt the top priority. So the complaint comes from lack of knowledge too. Basically these complaints come from not actually playing the game nor wanting to learn to play or about it. This thread needs burried and not bumped. Short of a free ride there is nothing to appease these kids.

My comment is not directed at people like this. I totally understand real life and it's priorities.

I'm specifically calling out players who are "too lazy and stubborn to do anything besides random BG's." They post all over these forums about how randoms are the only thing they want to do. Then complain because they are out geared by other players who put in more time and more effort.

So, why should my time and effort be diminished because someone else is lazy. Especially in this expansion where gear is so easily obtainable.
Good grief!

There is laziness to a certain point. I only play wow once a week and that is to raid with my guild. Gearing is not difficult, just gotta take out a bit of time and do it. I work a corporate job on Wallstreet, and still manage to have social life, workout, and cook. Just need to plan it out and manage your time.
There is nothing wrong with someone in 360+ ilvl que in the same bg as someone with lower ilvl. That is just how it has always been. Plus Random BG is not competitive play, no point to having different brackets because someone in higher ilvl killed you. Just play smarter and do other things to gear up quicker.

It wasn't an excuse, it was a response at being called lazy for being a random bger

I play randoms because thats what I enjoy.....pve content is boring to me and my erratic play times to do work well for rated....sure yolos but that requires wasting time getting a group when I could just be playing and extra map or 2. Plus rated groups tend to get pissy when you have to suddenly leave, as do raiders.

I do not believe you did all that on only 8 hours a week.. Just capping my conquest takes an hour a night
Is this thread a joke? Who ISN'T geared out by now?

Aside from alts, it seems to me *only* the lazy/incompetent are still 320-330, because gear/upgrades rains from the sky in BFA...

At this point in the expansion (3 months out from launch), I imagine most people have a decently geared main, I don't know what to tell you OP. /shrug

You really can.

I work around 55 ish hours a week and get a solid two hours a night of playtime after the kids go to bed. I do emissaries every 3 days. Most of the time you can do 3 emissaries in 8 world quests by hitting the tortollan or champions of azeroth in the zone of another emissary. I get a low m+ in on Thursday usually. Try to cap conq points on Friday and Saturday since I tend to stay up an extra 1/2 hour.

Just semi-schedule your days and you maximize your time in game.
