People are exploiting 3 different ways from 1950+. It’s when you get to the 2.2k area that you start to see it become more blunt and apparent. Like they don’t even hide it anymore. Website boosting pilot services that Blizzard should crack down on. But nahhhhh we just have to hope we land on the booster teams.
In all seriousness I’m great at pvp and played for years, but I do notice problems.

I was in a game last night where we got absolutely stomped and 3 of the people on opposing team got “damage control” achievements. Was a little weird, that’s like one of the first PvP achievements you get

I had a Silvershard game with an affloc and ele sham that did 25 mil dmg by the end of the game.
This was 2600 MMR btw.

I’ll one up that, I just played EOTS. We started alliance, our ret went to cap BET right out the gate.
Blitz rating has zero integrity. It’s just a bad meme.

Game last night where an aug with a glad mount decided that he was going to lead the BG while a priest decided he was going to do his own thing. Our team said to cap at 1350 and the priest capped before then and threw the match. I feel the priest was trying to make the aug lose rating but he caused over half of us to lose rating.

The illegal website boosters are using Discord and packet-sniffing/addons that show who is connected to which side before the match even starts. @Blizzard uh maybe you should do something about this? I’m tired of so many matches having DPS players that are either afk or doing like 10 million damage just to put a number on the board and pretend they were playing.

What I’ve found helpful is after two loses in a row, taking a break. Sometimes even just doing some other content and then in an hour re-q. It’s feels like my matchmaking and mmr seems to normalize vs send you down am the loser q

Being completely honest, I don’t see it at all. Currently 2480 at 2700+ mmr.
Not saying it doesn’t exist, but I just don’t see how someone losing for another person to gain is sustainable. I can see pilots happening, but even then that’s not a guaranteed path to winning past a certain rating.
In the end, the impact is pretty small.

Looking at it from both a buyer and seller perspective, I don’t understand why someone would even bother trying to pilot Blitz. It would just be a lot easier to do in arena.

Yea, it’s confusing. After 2400, you get nothing unless you’re hitting R1 and no one is buying that. Given some specs have all of 3-4 spots total. You’d get way more from shuffle or as you said, 3s.
