Seriously, something has to be done about PvP BGs and the lack of knowledge for newcomers, specifically epic BGs… Blizz should add a tutorial just like class tutorials to teach newcomers how Wintergrasp//IOC is won. The amount of times I feel like I am teaching the entire group how to reduce the timer on defense and how vehicles work/ranks in Wintergrasps pains me.
I mean they’ve basically flayed all the bgs down to as simple as they can get
1.ioc: Get hangar
2.Ashran: Get roc
3.av: dont go ibt and have some defense
4.wintergrasp Get sr

problem is when you teach people “how a BG is done” they take that almost as religious dogma and will attack anyone doing anything differently as not doing things the correct way.
more often then not, people aren’t looking to learn the maps, they just want to know “the correct way” to play them, and that is the incorrect way to approach learning PVP.
I think you’re probably just having an unlucky streak. I am too. I’ve been playing with some players who would get demolished by bots. Some elemental shaman with like 250k damage at the end of a battleground. Like… It’s disgusting.
