BG Que Times

This isn’t even coherent.

your argument is get rid of faction restrictions in only 1 aspect of the game to help you. But keep it in all aspects that benefit you.

They got rid of world restrictions to suite the entire player base. Why not get rid of faction restrictions in PvP to help 2/3rd the playerbase?

If you want to eat at the most crowded restaurant you have to wait in line. That’s how this works.

You can head over to the alliance cafe any time and avoid the waiting.

Yet you log in and enjoy farming on your 4th layer don’t you? You wouldn’t like a 3hr que for a server with 1 layer would you? You would complain wouldn’t you?

Why some people feel the desire to actually stand up and try to fight against helping other people actually be able to play the game is absurd. Waiting almost 2 hours for a bg to give you 400 honor max is going to cause people to quit the game. You enjoy their suffering and want the game to lose subs? Let blizzard read your rational and let them be the judge, you certainly aren’t helping your cause…whatever it is…seemingly to troll and harm the game.

There is no “fix” for this. This isnt a game problem. It’s a natural result of everyone going for the same thing, and causing a line.

You are like the person at the Mall who gets pissed off because there is a line formed for Chiptole, but not for Panda express. But you want your chiptole before anyone else and you wont even considering going anywhere else, so you get mad at the Mall about it. Basically, you are entitled.

You think this is ok, because you and the grand majority of pvp’er wanted to focuse on only rolling one faction, stop with the excuses and listen to what the few pvpers that went alliance are telling you.

The queue times over on this side are under 3min.

Stop being such hardheaded individuals and re-roll before it only gets worse and harder to catch up for you moving into phase 2.

Do you only queue for one BG at a time?

No one is enjoying your “suffering” because you arent suffering. You’re being an entitled baby.

If people like you and other players quit the game over this, it’s only good for the game. ClassicWoW is better off without people like you. I hope the whole lot of you quit asap.

Let’s summarize the arguments and I will move on. Talking to you guys is a total waste of time, you keep saying the same things.

Arguments against Merc mode to fix 2 hr que times:

  1. Delete your character and reroll
  2. Get over it lul
  3. You made a bad choice now you don’t get to play PvP

Arguments for Merc mode:

  1. Horde can actually BG for gear
  2. Everybody who works for a living won’t have to quit the game if they play to PvP
  3. Blizzard makes more money and retains more players

This to me seems like a slam dunk easy decision for blizzard, thanks guys.

lol such a slam dunk that it wont happen hahahaha

This logic flawed. More people will quit the game if you add merc mode, than if they dont add merc mode. Adding more lore-breaking changes is going to kill this game for the people who actually want to play TBC and who have been waiting to play specifically TBC again for years. I.e. not you.

You retail tourists are going to quit the game anyways. You arent here for the long haul, dont even try to lie to us. You plan to consume this game and then move on to the next thing. Why should blizzard cater to you tourists, over the people passionate about TBC and plan on playing this expansion for the rest of their gaming careers? You just want to destroy the magic of this game to make it momentarily easier for you, and then drop it in the trash when another retail patch or Classic wotlk comes out.

Stop trying to desperately ruin this game. Please go back to retail or follow through with your quit threats.

I am not a tourist. I’m a Horde player who has cleared all the content, am nearing full Phase 1 bis, and I want to start pvping. PvP is literally half of the game for a lot of people, and for some even more. In it’s current state, it’s basically unplayable. Although TBC is the closest WoW has come to a masterpiece, it is still far from it. Changes should be/should have been made to address the faction balance problem otherwise the game will bleed players, and that benefits nobody.

A new argument… Actually adding merc mode would kill the game? Interesting.

First off, im not a tourist i played original TBC and i played private TBC, probably more of both than you did.

Second, in original TBC the que times were not this long at all, nowhere near as long actually. So this isn’t “vanilla like”.

Lastly, to actually respond to your argument…how many people do you think work for a living and can’t grind honor with 2 hr bg ques vs how many people care about “lore”? You probably don’t care about lore. Nobody cares about “lore” Nobody is “RPing”, stop kidding yourself.

They would lose about 200-1 people if they don’t add merc mode than if they did, your argument is also bad.

Bleeding horde players benefits everyone, because too many people went horde!

You can still PvP right now, you just have to wait in a line which is only fair to other players in the line. You cant expect blizzard to bend over backwards so you can selfishly have your cake and eat it too. And you certainly cant expect Blizzard to destroy the soul of this game, just because you wanna have faster queue times, wahh, that’s disgustingly selfish. Disgustingly selfish people are a cancer in MMOs.

Did you play horde or alliance in TBC?

Obviously you did. Why else would you create a char on the faction that has waaaay more PvPers…

And also your faction, that decides to slow down every single AV because they think they are getting more honor doing it like this. The truth is: If you decide to extend a 8 min av to 25 mins by slowing down the game, you will have 3 times longer queue times!

Horde, multi-glad.

I distinctly remember 30 - 40 minute AB queues as horde around the time of this patch.
