how efficient is it to just level by doing bg’s?
If you win it’s like 40% of a level. Similar to dungeons with less consistent results.

Pretty good considering you reach max level and can buy full honor gear.
I think that it’s probably the most efficient as a pvper, honestly, with some leveling between queues, then maybe profs to wrap up the last level if you’re good on honor/tokens.
First air drop of the day is also 200, then 50 for repeats

Tried doing it as horde and it’s definitely not efficient. Might just be my luck lol
Went back to dungeons and questing.
Might try bg leveling on one of my alliance toons.

Its fast enough but more importantly pretty fun. The pacing is slower and wjth developing spellbooks its kinda fun to slowly grow in power & ability as you continue doing more bgs.
Assuming youre talking about lv 1-60

I tried it on ally, got slammed 4 in a row, tried on my horde alt, got slammed 3 times in a row. sometimes luck isn’t on the good side XD

I think it’s just being level 60. It scales up from 61 on.

I was getting about 1/7th a level between 67 and 69 last night. No idea where this 40% is coming from.
I didn’t mind because I hit 70 ready to go, but it’s not a quick way for exp in any fashion.

I calculated it at level 61 when I leveled and I got 24% of a level. Was just saying it’s more than the 10% Soda mentioned. I imagine it does become less though as you get close to 70. I wouldn’t say it’s the fastest way to level, but if you plan on getting full honor gear at 70 anyway it’s not so bad and is a nice break from dungeons/quests.
From 60-62 it goes a bit faster the higher the level it slows down to like a bubble a win or so
It’s slow and definitely don’t bother with Epic BGs
As others have said, do it while questing if you need a break.
It’s nice having the honor once you ding, but tbh rushing to 70 and then farming honor is probably still faster than doing BGs while leveling to have the honor at 70. Plus you can do other level 70 stuff faster that way too

Why do battlegrounds when leveling when you can level in 2-3 hours then AFK maximum level battlegrounds for a day or two because you have 140k hp?

As in most time efficient way to level time wise? Absolutely not. Spamming dungeons or questing is far faster.
It is very efficient at getting yourself geared for PvP tho. Being able to ding and straight away buy your full honor set is absolutely amazing. You cut out the hours of getting your face stomped into the dirt at 70.
It’s how I’ve been leveling my alts. I’ll do dungeons till about 67-68 or so then do the last 2-3 levels in bgs, usually gets around 8-11k honor by the time you ding 70, depending on win rates. And a full set is just over 11k so you don’t even have to bg the whole way, even most of it, to get enough honor for your set.
10/10 Highly recommend
At the very least I recommend 60-61 in bgs if one has gear from Shadowlands. You’ll have like 80-110k hp versus people with 30k and no medallion.

Well I have a medallion but 30k hp sounds about right lol
Rake → feral frenzy (if at all necessary) → watch them bleed out in travel form
