This is irrelevant, maybe he spotted a mage table or healthstone and went back for it. Still does not justify a ban.
i’m not sure why the other post was de-listed and locked so no one can see it. But blizzard essentially banned players for playing AV optimally. they have learned how to max honor/hour. they want to cap towers as quick as possible defend them then kill the boss. in no aspect of that does there have to be pvp.

Not steep at all. I would rather have botters that do damage than afk’ers.
The bots get 6 month bans vs 30 days. If anything it should be 6 month bans.

I defend a bunker. Then I go defend SHG because no other people defend anything - especially the zug’s up north who somehow betweeen all 30 of them can’t defend a single bunker or spgy.

No they don’t. Have you actually ever seen a bot? Even honorbuddy back in the day just had them running around in circles.
When your team stomps the group fight yet ignores objectives, and the Alliance are dumb in Arathi Basin, and you sit GM to avoid a rogue from coming to take it or deter the cap-happy paladin, yes, you can easily get 0 damage. I get that you’re ADHD and want to go fight something, but defending really isn’t overrated. It’s not often it happens, typically somebody comes and tries to take it, but playing defense wins games.
Unfortunately, the people who actually defend, cap, etc. and win games are punished, because of people like you who go into the group fight and zerg and farm 100 HKs get 3x the amount of honor as anyone else. That’s why removing BG specific Marks was such a bad idea.

Every suspension handed out in this ban wave was reviewed by an actual person. Blizzard has said this numerous times now.

Having a more prudent system in the first place would assist in eliminating the need for this.
On a large and more significant scale, we see it all the time in our justice system. Actioning the innocent is a massive no-no.
Nobody gets banned for defending gold mine, I defend in arathi all the time and never get banned
