BG Ban wave. Blizzard needs to address this

Forgot how toxic the forums have become. You arent here to help Demon. Go be a troll somewhere else. This is for legitimate concerns.

Your post count says otherwise, but you must be new here.

This is also an important point. A lot of people think “AFKing in BGs” only means hard leaving the computer screen completely. However, Blizzard’s policy is against NON-PARTICIPATION, which includes AFK, but a host of other things as well.

I’ve seen people walking, without mounts, in max level BGs, from one side of the map to the other. That sort of behavior absolutely falls under non-participation, even if it is not explicitly AFK.

How is it toxic to be happy people got banned for “defending” and not participating.

Almost every AV this whole last week had 2-5 AFKers.

I am glad they are all gone. Go slay some dragons and PVE more. You obviously don’t PVP.

Obviously none of you have corporate jobs. If my company made this mistake they would hold a meeting and ultimately determine it’s better to uphold the false bans than admit fault and lose a lot of good PR.

how is banning people for defending flags good PR?

Again, you are being toxic with your comments. I agree the AFKing has been an issue but what im not agreeing with is people being banned FALSELY. Go take your crusade somewhere else.

There wasn’t a single person just now at the start the AV running into the first fallen tree stump.

Last night there were a lot more.

Again, if you weren’t supposed to be banned, I hope you get your appeal. Think the rest of us are just saying that the people who should have been banned, got hit too.

Demon and Vtm have never gotten attention like this in their lives, just ignore the trolls

Pretty sure is done on purpose. To cut the wait time in queue. Hey it is working! I was thinking of play Warth since it was the time I enjoy wow the most. Now not so much.

In a country with reasonable company culture anyone making decisions like that would be fired on the spot. Screwing over your customers and then covering it up to not look bad is pathetic and weak and shameful.

Just because they have a different opinion from you doesn’t mean they are trolls. Being happy there are less AFKers in AV is not an invalid opinion.

Many of the people getting banned are playing on servers with no queue, such as Mankrik.

The point is why would Blizzard come out and say “oh guys we messed up”. When they can just say “everyone that got banned deserved it, wait your 30 days”. The backlash would be absurd if they admitted fault.

Having a dumb opinion that requires a brain smoother than a baby’s asscheeks to sincerely hold makes your opinion pretty invalid, actually.

But this thread isn’t about valid afkers. It’s about people being banned who are actively participating in the bg.

Sounds like you should actually participate in more BGs and not just run North and sit.

How is being happy there are less people AFKing in AV right now an invalid opinion? Do you know what these words mean?

Sitting at a tower that doesn’t see a player for 4 minutes in a 9 minute game is not “defending” nor is is participating.

Sitting in Van/Dreks room for 80% of the game waiting for the enemy team to finally get to you is not participating.

Ohhh so they say they were “actively participating” lol. I can bet 70-80% of these people actually deserved it.
