BG Ban wave. Blizzard needs to address this

Wrong again, because you have under level 70 collective gear players in your bg, there is no possible universe that it will be nicer in any capacity.

How am I wrong? I just did an AV where I didn’t see anyone AFK in a bunker after it burned down.

I’ve also said the trigger might have been pulled too quickly for people, but if you broke the ToS you broke the ToS

Loads of people shouldn’t have had the trigger pulled at all, because they were actively participating and still got banned.

I participated in every one I did. My strat was the same every time. Bal->SHB/IWB–> To Vann. Left every node after it capped.

I’m not giving my private streams out to some stalker weirdo. I will however be turning them over to the people who matter in this situation. Blizzard. Now. Last reply you get from me. To ignore you’ve gone.

You and I can’t make that call. The people who can said they weren’t

/shrug

Then why bring it up you goober? lol

I’ve done a ton of bgs since this ban wave happened and I’m seeing alot less people “camping” on noob hill down south outside Drek. Most people are actually sitting the towers and making sure they cap while also trying to backcap. This ban wave was great and I hope they continue banning afkers out of BGs.

Corporate simping really is harmful to humanity as a whole, you all are not defending a just cause.

Weird. I’ve been queuing AV after this banwave and all the sudden people arent AFKing anymore. I can’t possibly figure out why.

You’re the one defending AFKing in a video game lmao.

If you want to be rewarded for AFKing then play Clash of Clans.

I am making the call and I am telling you that you are wrong and they lied.

Literally no one attacking Van/Drek/PVPing and back capping are getting banned.

Only the people legitimately AFKing BGs

Just did a ton AVs today and no one, seriously NO ONE, stayed in the bunkers after they were burned, we had back cappers, and got a lot of honor.

The right people got hit with the wave.

You don’t just sit in a tower waiting to get 1v10’ed avoiding PVP as they take towers around you… that’s not “defending”…

Sitting in Van/Dreks room for 80% of the game waiting for the enemy team to finally get to you is not participating.

He’s not lying lol.

I just tried to see who was where when waiting at North Bunker, no one was at SHB or IB, and everyone who was was almost at Van

Has anyone received help and had an appeal that was successful?

Someone said that some appeals have helped, but they didn’t offer in proof. Didn’t even say they knew anyone that it happened to

False as ever. Participated in BG’s all weekend and still hit the ban. There are plenty of people that im sure are in the same boat I am. Blizzard can check ALL of my games and see kills and defends. So no, you are WRONG.

None of my friends or guildies were banned.

You afking until someone attacks you so you can alt tab back in and “defend” is what got you banned.

Probably ran to farther back towers every game.

I think people are happy about the idea that those AFKing are being punished. I don’t think anyone would be happy to learn that a lot of players were falsely banned. We’ll just have to see what happens in the coming days with appeals + further investigation.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, 30 days for first time offenders for non-participation seems pretty harsh. IIRC, it used to only be 9 days, but I did read that the 9 day penalty didn’t have the desired effect that Blizzard was hoping for.

We are rooting for you guys though if you are actually innocent and we wish you best of luck in your appeals.
