Chances are if they got banned, it was for a reason. Stop jumping on the victim defence train without knowing the whole story

Battleground objectives are not avoiding PvP. Want to just kill kill kill? Play arenas.
The purpose of AB is to cap flags and gather resources whether you like it or not.

Chances are if they got banned, there ARE some innocent people. Stop acting like Blizzards tech. has no issues and a GM reviews ALL reports.

I’m not going to address that because it’s inappropriate. My response to that is that the same as the rest of the stuff though, we are NOT privy to the details of what the situation is, and we should stop pretending that we are.

Yeah I know people that are for sure bad at the game. For sure really bad at PVP. For sure have no idea what they are doing in AV. But they got banned for just trying to get pvp gear for the expansion.
No doubt they were running with people to Van sometimes. No doubt they saw someone say go to this tower and went there. The problem is once you get there or dont go there someone gets mad that you are or arent there and report you for it.

The amount of people on here who believe it’s impossible for an innocent person to get banned from the mass report/automated ban system is frightening.

I haven’t played AV for awhile but the amount of people I saw who should have been actioned doesn’t make me think this is unreasonable.
Yeah the numbers are pretty huge. I know a guild that pretty much got wiped out from raiding tonight because they lost like 4 people. None of which were botting or anything of the sort. They probably were just really bad at AV. So they got banned for it because people got mad and reported them.
With the number of bans dished out its almost certainly an automated response system. I know myself and a few others who were not afk in any sense of the word.

Yeah, no way its a big batched wave. I know people that havent gone into a BG since Classic getting banned because they hit up the BGs for the new honor gear just starting this weekend.

I didn’t get banned, and I don’t AFK BGs because that’s scummy crap.
That being said, a 30 day ban during pre-patch and launch of all things is heinous.
Make it a week? Especially for first offenders. Missing launch because of this? That is insane

I haven’t played WoW in a long time and finally come back for Wrath. Then I’m randomly banned. It seems like Blizzard is upset people are actually PvP, way more than retail too.
