This is why people shouldn’t do the crime if they cant do the time. The 30 day bans mean they will miss out on wrath launch so surely the afking was not worth it.

I happen to know why blizzard sent out this most recent automated ban-wave. It’s because they their servers are ran on crap tier raspberry pi’s and can’t hold more than 5 people so people have to sit in queues for 3-4 hours, because adding more layers is hard. This is causing the sub and revenue numbers to go down in ways that blizzard did not originally anticipate. People are quitting this compounded on the biggest issue of all Blizzard not adding RDF to WOTLK which EVERYONE wants. Numbers “climbing” down steadily. Everyone went to mega servers because blizzard cant be asked to monitor faction population and server health. They rather blame the players for it and offer them transfers to haunted ghost town servers where the only person you will be dungeoning with is Benny who died in stocks in September of 2019. Again if they added RDF I could dungeon on ghost town servers, but lets continue on. Also, Blizzard knows that the banned people will be banned through wrath launch (Banned early enough to still experience pre-patch if they buy a new account and boost. This will net Blizzard ~$87 for this month. The user will then be forced to pay for two accounts since one will be the wrath character they had at launch and the other will be their main which has all the gear and achievement points they want. (Hence why Blizzard didn’t add account wide achievements.). This is all a money game for Blizzard and you are all falling for it. It’s time we put our money where our mouth is and unsub and show Blizzard we will not be fruit they can squeeze money out of.

You can stop with the patronizing lecturing about academic and journalistic practices, because all of this hinges upon the supposition that you didn’t augment his point and that what you cut out WAS incoherent and irrelevant. What you cut was clearly relevant, and in fact answered your response to the bit you cut before you even had the chance to respond to it:
You said “why would anyone trust what Kirkoh says over them, who know their own technology”, when he literally goes on to explain why you shouldn’t trust them just because they said something was so.
You literally responded to a point he had already countered, as to why we should not take Blizzard’s words on this issue in good faith, due to their past actions.
Sure, he started insulting you, he’s frustrated that you’re ignoring the qualification in his statement. Maybe not the best way to go about it, and he could have just explained it, but you absolutely changed his meaning and responded with a talking point he already debunked.

Oh i agree the AV brackets should be the same as every other BG and have 80 separate. But if you choose to queue sub 80 just so you can abuse the system and leach exp that’s on you.
Exactly. Its a huge mess. It is a REAL shame that people are getting automatically banned over stuff like this. Totally uncalled for and unacceptable. Three friends bit the dust this morning and I know for a fact they don’t have the brains or will to bot. I surely accept they are terrible at AV and PVP in general but I know they slaved away in discord for 2 days to get that stuff. Then they got banned for it. A total shame.

I wasn’t AFK. I did over 100bgs with guildies and friends the entire time. I don’t think I should be punished with missing launch and 2 exclusive events purely because I got mass reported for not participating in “Drek or Kek” and actually defending towers and back capping.

If the majority of the team was drek or kek and you weren’t going with them well you weren’t participating were you?
That IS the one thing that actually scares them. You can legitimately use social media to strongarm them, and I know people who’ve done it. They might not care about YOU, but they certainly care about their reputation. And whoever is responsible for their reputation with regards to the issue you post about cares, because it is their job on the line.

Means you’re avoiding PVP. Even if the other team is stupid and turtling. Doesn’t mean you sit back and do nothing.
GM reviewed bans based on stats of multiple games.
