An undeserved win in my opinion. This expansion has been garbo since beta, imo it shouldn’t have even been a consideration.

Then again the Gamer’s Choice Awards is a vote of fan base sizes more so than a measure of merit and worth. /shrug

WOW did lose the MMO competition to Fortnite though. Now think about it? WOW was put in the E-sport MMO competition. Seems like WOW is trying to wear two hats, and as everyone knows that is not a good thing. When that happens, the game then starts to lack one or the other aspects. I would say that is a lot of why the RPG part of this game is lacking currently.

Like I said WOW is attempting to wear two hats at once, which is part of the big issue with it currently. Fortnite is an MMO by the way, Not an MMORPG.

Congrats to Blizzard and WoWs team for making a stellar game that is popular and enjoyable.

I am glad to see recognition.

I have my problems with WoW and Blizzard and their employees
but the game is good and the story is interesting.

More than I can say for most vidya games.

If you didn’t like the game why would you bother to come to the forum. You would just quit wouldn’t you ? The people who come to the forum are the ones who like the game enough to keep playing it but would like to see improvements.

It’s easy to win when the competition ain’t really there, and what is there is in the middle of their own drought.

some of this is in play. Eve as an example made some odd calls that not have me vote for it. Not even related to the selling of it, actual game play stuff.

Would I put wow over eve at this time? yes. As I would put a put a car with a blown transmission over a car with a blown transmission and motor. You see
just the transmission needs work in the case of the former.

we’d explain it much better. Why I dislike popularity contest voting. It shows X won this many votes.

I’d like to see a this many voted " none of the above". that be fun if the votes came in and none of the above took top votes.

Omg critics who rate games low all the time because that gets them more readers and the salty people who rated it low because “waaah me not like -insert obscure thing here- 0/5” were wrong compared to the general populace and fanbase of the game?!? Say it ain’t so!

No congrats to blizzard for still being the best. I for one love bfa and think it deserves this win.
