BfA won Gamers` Choice Awards 🏆

The game costs 65 dollars with a sub fee. You compare it to other games in that price range. Yes different genres, but every game at that price is most likely a different genre.

If BfA is the best MMO you have played, it doesn’t excuse it from criticism. The game lacks content and isn’t something a multi billion dollar company puts out.

Which has nothing to do with what I said at all. Not at all. I don’t care about other games in that price range, quite frankly. I also never said it should be excused from criticism. So now you’re putting words into my mouth, as I just said not even a few posts ago that I see issues with the game too. You’re not getting it.

I said, if you recall:

And, now, to bring up what I said about BfA:

You’re not making a point at all. I hadn’t been saying anything positive in this thread about BfA, aside from the fact that there’s some things I do like, and some things I dislike. I had been pointing out the way you’re choosing to go about mentioning problems is via insulting the people who enjoy the game, which doesn’t help with improving the game at all. Again–going out of your way to insult people you disagree with does not cause change. Pointing out what you’re unhappy with and giving suggestions does.

Fair enough, my comments weren’t towards you but everyone posting in general.

I know, but it still doesn’t help the matter; I want to see the game change for the better too, I have ideas about improvements that I see repeated via others too, and can only hope they consider them. The problem is, they won’t consider these ideas if we target and insult other people. We need to be the bigger people, formal, and constructive, otherwise nothing will change, and it will only get worse.

it’s ok to be naive, but taking a victory lap and being naive is a little much. don’t get me wrong, I’m glad wow won, maybe it will spur a little much needed investment in the game and we will see some more iterative improvements. but, comon, when you allow only one vote per person/account it’s astonishing how far down the list warcraft is.

Hm, seeing posts like:

and

Makes me wonder

Anyways I will just say what I would normally say.

“Grats, but don’t let it go to your head” and “there is always room for improvement”.

Ok though, everything else aside
God of War (most recent) is legit nothing short of a masterpiece. I hate whiny stupid sidekicks/followers in all games, however I actually felt and really liked Kratos’ kid. It’s unreal a video game made me feel that way.

You wanna see fantastic artwork and beautiful OST?

A plot that doesn’t feel like a plot, it feels like an adventure (can’t believe I said that cliche lmao)?

I loved Kratos’ “stories” he told his son lmfao!

Combat is fantastic, absolutely amazing and a total blast.

I could go on and on. THAT is a game worthy of awards, sincerely. I highly recommend to anyone even if you haven’t played the others. It’s ridiculously good, hats off to that dev team.

Edit (lol xD): The first time you meet Baldur (no spoilers xD)?!!? The enemy design and artwork (valks ;D) It’s a fantastic game worth many times it’s price.

I’ve heard good things about it myself. I’m not big on single player games, but it might be something I’m willing to try eventually.

One of my favorite lines was in the beginning, “Don’t be sorry, do better”.

Yeah, but I play wow for the mechanics and setting. Not really for the story. I would rather the story be more enjoyable, but I keep coming back for raids, dungeons, warfronts and mostly PVP in BFA.

Yay it looks like we are on the same page here!

Academy Awards are not a popularity measure obviously. The biggest blockbuster money making movies never get nominated except for like special effects or costume design.

This game award was about popularity from the people who actually play/played this game. That’s all it was.

There are basically zero other legitimate mmorpgs. WoW may be the worst it has ever been but there’s no real competition so it won by default.

Kind of like winning a beauty contest when you are the last person on earth. Congrats, I guess but it doesn’t mean anything without actual competitors.

Being able to vote multiple times kind of took away any credibility this “award show” had. Enjoy being the best dumpster in the alley.

Why?

My friend plays this game. I tried it once. Was the most boring MMO grind I’ve ever experienced.

I can’t recommend it enough. I don’t usually play those kind of games either, but THAT game!?! Absolutely incredible, 10/10. Check out THAT game’s reviews on metacritic lmfao. It’s deservedly full of 10s from users. If you haven’t yet, check out “God of War - Story Trailer” on youtube. Awesome.

I KNOW RIGHT!!! Or when in the beginning you’re entering “that” area (no spoilers!) and his son talks about that “person” warned them that area was dangerous, and Kratos just says, 100% dead serious: “We go, where we please.”

I was like “OOOOOHHHH! That’s right! I’m the God of War!!! Come at me!” Hahaha that game does a fantastic job in all areas, especially making you actually feel BA like you’re the God of War. And it doesn’t do it by making you just roflstomp and roll through it either

10/10, fantastic game. You almost feel Kratos’ age and him being older. That axe though too, and upgrading it? His talents you can invest in?! The treasure hunting and crafting? Awesome.

Seriously check it out if you’re on the fence about it.

Activating and beating stuff down with Spartan Rage is just simply a treat lol.

God, you wanna talk about absolutely incredible artwork!? The world serpent, and that dead frozen frost giant. Nuff said. Incredible.

Well, this sucks. Blizzard can now tell themselves that there are enough shills that they no longer need to put effort in this game. Guess mediocrity is the new standard. Remember when Blizzard was a game company that actually cared about putting forward a product that THEY enjoyed playing? Yeah, those days are gone.

Same. Shame that an MMO like FF14 whos devs put in 10x the amount of work than that of WoW’s, got shafted.

Well
WoD was so close to dying (sub count dropped over 60% with numbers continuing to to bleed until they literally stopped publicizing their sub numbers)if they didn’t listen to GD and compromise on flying sooooo
 You’re wrong on that one.
