X.1, X.2, X.3, etc. are supposed to have all the major stuff.

I definitely preferred WOD. During WOD I could run dungeons and raids on several alts and PvP was still pretty great. Oh, and you want to PvP? Better run mythics first a few weeks first, after doing all the stuff I just mentioned.

Now? Better grind your heart to max, grind out your Bis essences, get the right RNG gear, and now, upgrade your cloak.

I spend way more time grinding for that stuff than doing the content I want. It’s an MMORPG. I want to run dungeons and raids, not grind the same thing over and over.

And you just highlighted my biggest issue with WoD. It was a raid/PvP or die xpac. There was nothing for the solo player to do. No daily hubs, no Molten Front/Isle of Thunder-type zone. It was just… “go here. Fill a bar. Get useless apexis crystals.”

I’m not saying WOD was anywhere near perfect and I enjoy a lot of the solo stuff as well. But I think there are way too many systems in BFA and they’re too hard to get on alts. Sometimes, I just wish I could hop on an alt and be able to play what I want.

That and there’s a lot more to do in BfA than there ever was to do in WoD, with WoD having plenty of class balance issues of it’s own (member Rogues doing like 400k Death From Aboves and flat out deleting people, and using the legendary ring in World PvP which was misery incarnate)

Even WoD’s narrative is equal to or even worse than BfA’s: Member how everyone gets together being free despite literally the only ones being enslaved were the Draenei

WoD also started the CHAMPION trend with you being the COMMANDER and the mobile game mission tables

It introduced a lot of negatives to the gameplay and narrative of WoW and I don’t like it, basically

I disagree. I think this is the best patch in BfA. And I dare even say it’s actually a good patch, even though BfA overall is a bad expansion.

I played WOD since the beginning of the expac and enjoyed it more than I’m enjoying BFA. IMO, WOD is superior.

Gosh, I was on Tich at the time, and I ended up with login queues that took all day.

But it seems to be a new argument though with some people. “If you liked WoD, then you never played it when it was current”. Honestly, I did enjoy WoD, but the lack of content was the biggest disappointment, and the devs abandoning it was also a disappointment. But with what was there in WoD, it was quite fun.

The recipes for pots and stuff were stupid too because you needed meats and stuff, but they quickly changed that.

Yes, the devs abandoning the expac due to severely poor planning and mismanagement was the biggest disappointment of WOD. It’s really a shame because I’m sure what was abandoned was going to be pretty awesome.
