BFA was better than Shadowlands

Pretty huge differences between the alchemy pool in southeastern Maldraxxus and something like Steward of the Day.

I see you’re just choosing to ignore the last words of that sentence, but okay!

This part?

Neither of the things I mentioned even gives rep.

I think you don’t really understand what content there is in Shadowlands.

Have you ever even done Steward of the Day? I’m guessing not.

Still waiting for you to reread that sentence I have faith in you.

I think shadowlands and BFA are basically the same pack

At least we have 7.10 coming out in a bit over a week

I’m explaining to you, that everything you said you wanted, is in Shadowlands.

You just haven’t realized it.

Done. The Avowed. The slime pit workshop in Maldraxxus. Steward of the Day. Are you doing these things you claim you want?

There isn’t a HUGE NEON ARROW pointing you to do all this stuff every day, which seems to be the problem. Because a lot of people on this forum seem totally lost without one.

I don’t like a lot about Shadowlands, but I gotta disagree. The one thing I did like about BFA is there were at least zones connected to one another. I do feel like BFA did offer more for casuals though than Shadowlands.

Ok, I now uinderstand what you’re saying, but you only get access to whichever “subfaction” to the covenant and not the other three, correct? For the longest time my main, a Venthyr, had The Court of Night in my rep tab but found nothing on them. Reading later that it was a bug.

Yes, my Venthyr can do work for the Avowed but the other covenants are no gos, correct?

I dont care for the story setting of an afterlife and much prefer azeroth zones. Boralus is awesome.

Being a non raider, I’d take maw/torghast/twisting corridors over warfronts and islands so far.

I’m glad I can go back to BfA zones and appreciate them for their aesthetic now that they don’t feel tainted.

That doesn’t make BfA better than Shadowlands by a long shot though.

One patch vs. one expansion.

Point’s irrelevant.

Peoples’ complaints reside in the fact the “End game” became the whole game.

No one wants to do covenant bs.
No one wants to go farm conduits on every alt.
No one is really that enticed to do PvE, the mythics aren’t that exciting after you’ve done them enough times.
PvP is pretty congested with high ilvl farmers in RBG via exploiting search, and Arenas, they’re congested as well with boosters and others who are most likely better geared.
The Maw sucks generally, so if you want sockets the maw is “Great”.
Anima is pretty useless but necessary if you don’t want to walk.
Once flying is available i think anima becomes obsolete.
Torghast twice a week is painful, but it could be worse.
WQ aren’t that interesting.

Basically you have to get creative to find something of interest, I would say you can try farming tmog/mounts, but I wouldn’t get too invested in professions, cause they’re pretty dead.

Leggos are kind of screwed also if they don’t do some preempted saving with 9.1.

Yeah but what if you don’t like raiding, “owell”. XD

That’s the exclusiveness of the club, only X,Y,Z who will do X,Y,Z and be able to get them.

I’m not a fan of that method with their “new” lego system already having a poorly designed system. We traded farming corruptions from bosses for farming currencies that are “your choice”, unless you don’t like the content then you’re SOL.

I genuinely think some of the Devs love Airports, and thought “hey lets turn this place into a space station, but in the “spooky” undead area.”

Basically implemented another legion-esq concept in “space tech” and reskinned a necropolis.

I’d grind out a thousand azerite pieces before I touch systemlands again

How could I forget how rewarding grinding for days on end in islands for +2 to secondaries was!!?

no one owes you an explanation of the most simplest of terms.

Corruptions and the current legendary system are bad. I don’t think they should have “legendary” items everyone acquires. It’s asinine.

Just add another talent row for borrowed power and let it change each expansion

Thing is in BFA this was truly optional
for casuals.

YOu could work off the stats of basic 340, then 370, then 400 “normal” gear have a good life as an open world casual player as the major revisions came out.

I didn’t hunt essences. Nor fix corruption resists when that gear dropped. I often wiped gear since I couldn’t take the corruptions but it had great stats.

SL
legendary is not optional. even for open world. Why I view it as not alt friendly. YOur alt will see torgahst. Or suffer for it.

Or there is my out. I make 60’s and put them in old content rotations. Horde and alliance get 1 char I care about. To work the patches as they come out for SL.

The rest
the place they logged out in is more than likely not even in the shadowlands after they hit 60. I ain’t doing borghast on them.

I would take Warlords and BfA over Shadowlands at this point.
