Doing quite well while kiting which is one of the reasons why Survival is the best Hunter class in pvp. Decent damage whilemkiting and while.kn Melee. Want me to set up a duel between you and Dead since you are such an amazing Assasination Rogue?

Thatâs not always the case. Yes the pet stops, but sometimes not fast enough, sometimes, it doesnât stop at all. I am willing to admit I am wrong once I start seeing it for myself.
and this is your response an? insult ? everything posted here was something to do with the game, nothing bashing towards any body. specifically this class and hopefully to improve the spec and you throw insults at me only proving what iâve said before hand and that you didnât read my post before. where i clearly state that survival feels like a ranged spec thatâs forced to be melee.

The intention was to entertain, which I achieved. Iâm a good sport. I work in an industry where we bust eachothers balls relentlessly. especially when we like someone. Iâm actually quite fond of Bepples as well. Itâs ok to disagree, but lets have a sense of humor about it. You know damn well that SV Hunter is a competent pvp spec. Just lighten up a bit bud. Thereâs no help for Bepples. Buddy letâs be friends and obliterate assasination rogues together.
i can see what you mean and where iâve come to misunderstand somethings maybe you havenât been able to play that much recently or anything but itâs cool it will fall down more to a blizzard having to fix the pets thing again if thatâs the case.

Iâm also extremely laggy. Itâs unplaybe in most cities.
Outside of SV heâs a pretty good raider by all accounts. As far as SV is concerned, watch his posts on it and see for yourself. He will miss a few things because he doesnât have enough time to play it. I also cannot remember a time where he admitted that he was wrong. I have in this thread. Itâs a shame really. He and I get the trolls well fed with these meme posts we see.

I wish that were the case. The one Class that was considered so united that it was the only one not referred to by their Specs has been spit because some have to act like weâre traitors.

This thread is a massive pissing match between those that canât handle change, and those that embrace it. Many have stated opinions as fact and use irrelevant metrics in an attempt to prove that their opinions are fact; i.e. how much a spec is played. Using a similar example while looking at classes, rather than spec, DH is the least played class, even less than Shamans, but nobody says that the DH was a mistake.
Here is what compelled me to play SV. I played both Hunter and Death Knight since WotLK with my hunter being played since 2005 (Vanilla). I played Survivial in WotLK, Cata, and MoP (didnât play most of WoD). When Legion came out and SV was made Melee, I was happy and have chosen it as my main spec in part of Legion and most of BFA.
I greatly enjoy it and find it very satisfying to play with itâs very diverse toolkit. I enjoy it so much, that I canât bring myself to play my DK any more because I, as player with a demanding job, wife and kids, donât want to split my time between two classes when SV gives me the best merger of both of my favorite classes.
Those arenât facts, those are opinion based statements. We play a game that subjectivity is what keeps players playing it but there is data that may be derived from these activities. I imagine that the data that drove Blizzard to make the decision to make SV a melee class was supported by many others just like me, who were playing multiple classes to satisfy the need for both a Melee and a Ranged pet class class/spec in the most played class in the game.
My opinion is that SV is fun, and I imagine that there are enough others to justify SV continuing to be Melee just as I imagine that Blizzard wonât be removing Demon Hunters anytime soon, even if they are the least played class. Iâm glad that Blizzard made the decision they made and have done, what I consider, and pretty good job at making the spec fun, compelling, and satisfying to play.

For every ounce of development time they spent on changing survival again; (from Legion which they didnât need to do), they ignored both of the ranged DPS specs.
Iâm all for people playing what the enjoy, but keeping this version of survival, and ignoring the two other specs cost them my sub and others. It hurts the game in the long run.
Its not directed at you but there are people on here that only switched over to play melee survival after they made it easy in BFA and buffed the damage. They argue and refuse to support ranged hunters. The class is going to stay broken and subpar as long as this continues.

Agreed⊠I absolutely agree that they need to resolve some issues with MM and BM. MM has the turret issue where you canât move without your DPS suffering greatly and BM has scaling issues that could be easily fixed. I also agree that they should leave the current iteration of SV alone. It works.
Because the lowly paid if paid at all interns are making pretty big decisions at the moment.
I donât know how to kite on my SV hunter, either. Wing Clip, tar trap, maybe use a spider, what else is there?
Using Intimidation, Freezing Trap, Trackerâs Net to get some distance. Treat it very similar to kiting as BM and MM. Just remember that you are melee, so you have to get back in.

Nope. Donât do PVP that often so I just stick with the basic PVE stuff.
