Imo S2 was the absolute worst, S3 is better just not by enough after such an atrocious season which makes S2 feel superior

Essences make game slightly less damp. Only reason otherwise there’d be no difference between s2 and s3
When all the RMPalas get that azshara staff xd
S2 was hands down the worst but S3 is just S2 with a little bit of spit mixed in

both seasons are equal crap because both seasons did not have any significant changes

I feel it’s worse because damage falls behind HP scaling even more so classes with % damage stay high pressure while the rest of everybody falls behind.
But, honestly, at this point it’s comparing diarrhea to vomit.

I would 1000% rather have diarrhea over vomit how are these things equal in your mind?
It’s like comparing PvP and PvE rewards or apples and oranges.
S3 already sooooooo much better than S2!
Doesn’t mean it’s GOOD by wow glory day standards but :
1-Although some pve gear is still quite powerful and influencial, it is nothing in comparison to last season’s clown fiesta of broken dampening gear. In fact imo the strongest pve item in the current meta is ward of envelopment which was quite tolerable in the former ocean of voidstones and tridents. And if you say KR sword, well I prefer big dmg procs over auto bubble procs…
2-Although very few balance changes were introduced, essences were great for pacing. Added big cooldowns that dont make you immortal but actually help kill things?? Hell yes! And for the mana regen essences that everyone will use for counter argument to my “improved pacing”, I say to you all “go dh dk mirror eachother on a sinister private server”. These mana essences basically counter one of the most toxic aspects of last season : losing to dh mana burn aka dying of old age while juvenile baboons stumble around you.
3-Maledict fix. Although it was nerfed so hard “nobody will ever use it again haha”, every good team still uses it… puts in perspective how broken maledict was even after the initial nerf and at least now everyone STARTS the season with one if wanted, instead of getting triple prenerf dikd for 2 months until you get a good one.
Now if we could just nerf DK/WW/Assa/Firemage/44k judgements + buff Marks/Affi/Enhance/Hpriest, the World of Warcraft would be a better place.

I don’t think there will ever be a worse season than season 2 of BfA.It’ll be written down in the history books of WoW arena.This season is horrid still, but saying that this season is worse than the previous one is a huge exaggeration and an overstatement.
he likes stupid essence/trinkets because they make the game faster but nerf every spec in the game doing well

well hes obviously not clear with what he wants nerfed but all those classes have disgusting survivability, dk death striking, ww fist being annoying, assa not being a kill target ever cuz of feint cd being low and vial doing disgusting amount of healing, fire mages having a shield for 50% of their hp or w.e while having temp, and cauterizing blink trait, then hpals doing insane dmg with little effort.

yep, dont nerf and buff a ton of classes in the same patch, otherwise you just get a meta swing and no problems were solved
buff the underperformers only and wait, watch if any new counters develop then decide. thats the proper way to let metas develop, which is not what blizzard is doing (making zero changes at all and pretending the meta is going to change over time because their game just has SOOO much depth)
It appears worse to me. Even less players queing once they realized no PvP balance was going to happen. Rmx has been disgustingly strong this whole expansion. Some specs are still trash tier and that’s depressing.

For the underperformers to be balanced they need complete redesigns and that’s in 9.0 if anything. No enhance buff or affi buff will make them T1 over mages and windwalkers unless they just do way to much damage (8.0 enhance for ex.).
Don’t get me wrong, I’ll take big talent/ability changes, I just don’t expect them whatsoever from Blizzard.
And no, buffing enhance hpriest affi marks / nerfing firemage assa ww dk would NOT result in the same boring meta at all. I’m expecting #% blanket buff/nerfs as usual so I’m pointing them in the right direction.
