when are these becoming soloable? some of the bosses are soloable, but a lot of them are not due to mechanics which either make bosses despawn because they can’t attack you, damage reduction if 2 bosses are too close or my personal favourite the one I just encountered - Akunda’s Mind Wipe which basically makes you useless
Some bfa raids are soloable on normal atleast, but I think most aren’t, because of mechanics
Akunda’s mind wipe might be possible as a warlock, since the imp can dispell magic (and pets don’t get stunned/silenced when your stunned/silenced), tell your imp to shoot one of them, while you attack the other to keep them seperate, but then then I think the boss right before jaina would be difficult, if it’s even possible since they need to die at the same time.
The only bfa raid I’ve managed to do solo is Eternal Palace on my hunter
They’ll likely do solo-friendly changes to BFA at some point during this expansion. Most BFA raid bosses are soloable on normal now, there’s just a couple that aren’t due to mechanics.
maybe three expansions down the road cause they clearly don’t listen to forums cause there’s been tons of threads about this and they just sit quiet and tell ya yes were listening i wouldn’t expect nothing anytime soon.
You’re gonna have to wait for alot of fixes. I haven’t bothered since I know things will be easier later on (and I am referring to how the fights operate on mythic). But every end boss has a separate minibosses/object manipulation/perma-root/different boss focus. All easily forcing an instant reset or sit on hands until dead situation.
I would like it to happen but it probably won’t happen, at least not any time soon.
Not anytime soon. For a lot of things the wow team is doing right in DF they remain adamant about nobody soloing content from 2 expansions ago. Not sure why.
Or, you know, you could just not wear a tinfoil hat and be of the opinion they are busy, nerfing BFA content isn’t high priority and/or is planned for an upcoming patch?
Giving player characters a power multiplier when they enter certain instances is a massive task? I wouldn’t think so.
With the right multiplier we wouldn’t need much, if any tuning. It boils down to “they don’t want players doing this” but have never given an explanation as to why.
Why would we need that? There’s been no item squish, therefore no power bump needed. The legacy buffs are there to duplicate gear scaling that was removed in each stat squish, but there hasn’t been a stat squish since BFA. They just need to tweak a few mechanics but it’s likely a low priority and/or coming in the future.
To solo content that’s 2 expansions old.
You just made that up.
Indeed he did. At least if he implied there was legacy buffs for BfA content (which their aren’t). There are however legacy buffs for legion and prior. Although the legion buff is actually hidden whereas the WoD one is visible on your buff bar.
Not soloable 100% because they made it so that BFA was “last expansion content” and by that I mean they basically put both BFA and SL content on the same track. New players are forced to do BFA. I think they did this because SL was most certainly the OPPOSITE of a hit xpac.
Probably wont be until next xpac since these bosses in raids don’t become legacy until they are 2 xpacs old.
They really really hate collectors and completionists so I don’t anticipate legacy tuning to BFA bosses and legacy damage buff to players any time soon.
This is indeed possible, can confirm. On Mythic is more complicated though as Bwonsamdi curses you to take 0 healing pretty much permanently (absorbs still work so Soul Leech is great). 2 manned it last week with me and a blood dk. But I kept my wrathguard out since I couldn’t tank one myself, meaning we could only cast instants in the split second between silences. But Akuma couldn’t kill my pet, and my pet eventually killed Akuma almost solo
3 expansions. Some boss in legion still can’t solo.
It should be 2.
The only boss you can’t realistically solo in Legion is M KJ and has been for the past like 2 years. This doesn’t really matter though because he doesn’t really drop anything of note.
Judging from last expansion, do solo mythic BFA you will likely need to wait till the next expansion. As a mage, I am just now able to solo mythic raids (well the final 3 raids as the first raid of Legion I was able to solo mythic during SLs).
It used to be after every 2 expansions all classes should be able to solo mythic raids. Then SLs came and they changed it where it now takes 3 expansions.
Again, this is only for Mage as they are one of the worst classes that had to wait the longest to solo mythic raids to begin with. So maybe there are some classes now that can solo mythic BfA.
For a moment, I thought BfA was the last xpac we had & that made me smile.
Just thought I’d share.
