Something I’m actually looking forward to since it’ll help motivate me to level some alts a little faster and maybe help with some reputation I was too lazy to grind. This might also help some get the conqueror of Azeroth achievement done.
Didn’t know if it until reading but it says that completing one gives you an hour long buff that helps with leveling too so lots of things in 8.1 to make it less annoying to get to max level. Now if they could just fix pvp

Take invasions from legion and copy paste to bfa with the added bonus of completion rewarding an hour long exp buff lol
I leveled every class to 110 using those BFA invasions. So easy. It’s been torture leveling my alts this xpac. Island expeditions seem like they take forever, and XP from bgs/skirms is crap.
I’m leveling all the things in 8.1 to just round out my game knowledge since people don’t duel anymore.
So far it looks like incursions will give a lot less XP than Legion invasions. Legion invasion WQ is worth around 60k XP and bonus XP i think for about 40k, BFA incursions are 25k xp base.
Ehhhhhhhhh disappoint if factual
I have felt like this a lot lately but I think they just don’t understand the value of alts for keeping players engaged and enjoying the game.
I am hesitant to extrapolate my likes to everyone else but I think it’s the norm at this point for everyone to play multiple characters. Whether you PvP or PvE I think most of us like to have different characters to use for various reasons from boredom, to better game knowledge, to helping friends by filling needed roles, etc.
It seems in Legion (except for the tail end with massive AP boosts) and even more so in BfA they are making these expansions extremely alt unfriendly. Capping takes longer, there’s less viable ways to do it (2v2 nerfed), azerite traits are spec specific, azerite traits take forever to farm up the best ones, you need a high neck ilvl to unlock traits on high ilvl gear, and leveling sucks bad and is the most unfun I can remember with no new talents or abilities.
Idk I just feel like it’s way too time consuming to even attempt to maintain multiple characters anymore and you just end up with 3-4 with crappy 350 ilvl with garbage traits. Can they really not just give us an easy way to at least level our alts with all of the other crap we have to put up with? I mean come on already.

Yeah looking like more incentive to want people to do them. The expensive mount costs 750 marks and we get 1 per warfronts quest they say and 15 per win we gotta do around 50 warfronts for that mount then xp pots cost 10 & there’s the other mount for I think 75 or so. Gonna be a lot of damn warfronting going on if you want any of that.
