BfA Flying? Really?

Can fly in Shadowlands. Can fly in ZM.

Can’t fly in BfA. Come on Blizz.

I wasn’t aware SL was inside BFA zones.

Well. I won’t say it doesn’t suck. But you can always wait til next expansion. Isn’t that when they lift the pathfinder requirements?

The requirements will go away in 10.0

They currently have it set up so that flight requirements from more than 2 expansions ago are not required. At least I think it should work this way. I never unlocked flying in legion and I was t able to fly there before SL but now I can.

Shoot you’re right.

Gosh you too.

oh man

It’s crazy how I did the grind to fly in Azeroth, Outland, Northrend, wherever Cata was, Pandaria, Draenor, and wherever Legion was, but didnt think to do it in the BfA zones

oh wait I didnt. It’s dumb AF to gate the previous expansion

They put BFA flying behind a stupid incredibly long quest chain that does take almost a real month or so to complete. Or if you have no job and parents still pay your rent then it can be done within 2 weeks.

You have to earn it.

It’s not that difficult. Put in the effort and you’re fine, or wait until Blizzard automatically unlocks it for everyone, which they’ll likely do when the next expansion rolls around.

They are doing a 100% rep buff 2 years ago. Some guy linked it in GD a couple hours ago.

Love this. Either you play more than me, and you’re a no life loser. Or you don’t play as much as me and you’re a casual scrub who deserves nothing. The wow player demographic everyone

because they have such a good track record for quality of life changes, right?

They literally did this with Shadowlands.

WoD and Legion flying were unlocked for everyone when the 9.0 patch hit, regardless of whether you had completed the achievement for it or not.

you guys remember the good old days of just having to buy a tome to learn how to fly?

I remember being broke and not being able to afford the gold to buy it. With unlocking flying through the account wide unlock, my alts can automatically fly once arriving to the zone now.

Meanwhile mission table still resets on every covenant change, so I can’t do mission table on my enhancement shaman.

They let things like this fall through the cracks all the times. It happens. Players need to raise these issues. It’s when players are ignored it becomes a problem.

The new trick is possibly now thinking someone has a flying speed buff
or spell that nobody else has and is a secret that has to be fleshed out like on Archvaldor incredibly secret hacks which turns out not to be a hack at all and like… Nobody tells us these things like expects us to read every single quest that is available in our quest log of what we did and did not do.

Nobody has time to read quest page like a book that is insane!
Which is why I made a post on gener forum about a week ago that all players when in their home city has an NPC in the fashion of Mrs. Butters from the TV show SuperNatural who can help you out to guide you in what you should be doing.

There was a guy not long ago who asked in trade chat how to get to Boralus. On Horde. I started asking questions. It turns out he wanted to go to Stormsong Valley. I offered to summon him there (which would of course require 2-3 characters) and he was like, great! I asked him how much he wanted to pay and never heard from him again.

I think he had the idea that he could farm one of those incredibly low drop rate mounts and sell it at a big profit to solve his gold issues, without taking into account what wandering around in Stormsong Valley looking for the right mobs to kill without flight was going to be like.

I would have thought that with Patch 9.2 that BFA should be unlocked by now.

Well, you can, just don’t swap covenants every day.

This is an entirely avoidable problem, of course your table is going to reset every day, the missions are different, as are the champions you can use.
