If I faction change say Horde to Alliance to unlock Dark Iron Dwarves, can I still create Mag'Har Orcs since I've unlocked them?
If they are locked what happens to any MH Orcs I've created?

If you've earned the achievement for recruiting them, they stay unlocked.
Existing Mag'har will not change and you won't be prevented from creating more.
I'm thinking of going back to Horde from Alliance. I went from Illidan to a low pop server in Garona because a friend moved there and they have a nice group but I don't like it, its too quiet. Came here to get a few answers on what would happen if I transfer. Thanks for the information.
Rep is changed over, you wont lose any.
if you unlock allied race you wont lose access.
if you unlock kings rest or seige of borealis u can still do them.
You do lose;
- story quests, be prepared to do all of them for the new faction
- flight paths, must unlock again by buying all the outpost quests again and redoing the quests. (RIP war resources)
- re-do war campaign
- any unlearned recipes will be locked to old faction reps. must use before or have to re-purchase.

I switched Horde->Ally->Horde very recently. I had previously unlocked all Horde flight posts (including upgrades) via the scouting report mission quests. Upon changing back to Horde, I LOST all of them.
Worse, I cannot even unlock them again as I cannot re-buy the scouting report scrolls from Honourbound Emissary - they are no longer shown among her wares.
I submitted a bug report today and hope for a solution.

I have this same question, I am thinking of trying Alliance, but I don't want to lose my Horde FP if I happen to faction change back.
Ok with all the changes coming to the reps would you still have to grind 7th legion if you are exhaled with honorbound? And not have to faction change?
