BFA Dungeons

Does anyone else think bfa had the best dungeons? I noticed that expansion gets a lot of guff but it was good. Are gamers just cynical now and negative about everything? I can’t wait for bfa timewalking myself.

Yes I loved bfa dungeons. They all had great music that fit their themes perfectly, and the bosses in the dungeons were actually memorable unlike almost every shadowlands dungeon. Shadowlands has such boring dungeon music and boss voice lines.

Tbh I enjoyed dungeons before they were designed for M+

Most dungeons afterwards haven’t really been that enjoyable for me. I wish I could explain exactly why, but I can’t.

There were dungeons I actually looked forward to running in BfA.

Between the dungeons, 15’s instead of 10’s, affixes, and wanting to run 4 or 10 instead of 1, every week is dread.

I really liked the bfa dungeons. Atal dazar and freehold especially. I really miss both of them. I liked almost all of them though tbh

lol…no…i dont. BFA dungeons were the last straw for me with running dungeons.
Freehold specifically.
I loved running dungeons in Legion.
BFA, both foaming mouth rabid players and the kiddie ride dungeons turned me entirely off.

I enjoyed the dungeons in legion far more than BFA (most of which I found, bleh at best) except for the one that was so dark I wanted to scream. That wasn’t fun.

A few were pretty good. Atal, Freehold and the mansion one was fun. The rest were terribly unfun. I still do a weekly Kings Rest mythic run for the mount but I can’t wait to never step foot in that place again.

I agree, there were a few dungeons in BFA that I really enjoyed but also some that I really hated.

In Shadow Lands, I can’t say that I really like or hate any of the dungeons. They are all just ok.

BFA had some good dungeons (junkyard, freehold), and some bad ones (tol dagor, siege of boralus). Waycrest Manor was really fun early on in the expansion when everyone kept getting lost, but 3 witches boss sucked hard on high tyrannical. KR was pretty good, but they never fully fixed how overtuned the 1st boss was. The bigger issue with BFA M+ was less the map design, and more that all the classes (at least early on), just felt like a lesser version of what they were in legion, and Infested/Beguiling sucked hard.

Dang I actually really liked beguiling. Will say I hated reaping to me it was soo boring to me.

played boomkin that season eh? It was fun on specs with actual AoE even if just to see big numbers on a meter, or when you pulled it on top of council of captains.

I was doin bear, I just really don’t like affixes that work based on count percentage. Alsoo dosent help that, that was the first time I had done m+. Soo it was more then likely because I was new to the game and percent just was kinda weird to me.

It was more fun when you got to the level where you were adding reaping into other pulls or bosses

I loved Freehold!!! SL dungeons aren’t as unique because Blizz wants to promote this Esports nonsense.

Ehh fair I only did a few 10s back then. I mainly started doing more in season 3.

Makes sense since bfa was the best expansion ever, well hard to beat shadowlands, but it was the second best for sure! KEK

What does this even mean?

What made freehold “unique”?
