Seems well thought out. It’s also odd that the new base game doesn’t include a free 120. I’m not even sure I want to play Shadowlands, and this price gauging doesn’t help.
Well, that’s the great thing about being able to make decisions. You can decide whether or not the cost is acceptable to you or not.
I don’t think that something costing more than you’re willing to spend is “price gauging” though. Start saving now and you’ll be able to get whatever version you want by the time it actually releases next year.

So wait until they incorporate BfA into everyone’s account for free. They’ve done that with the last few expansions. Which also seems to be the opposite of gouging.

I think all of that to say please consider lowering BFA cost to help boost sales for the new game. We definitely want to continue to grow our community.

If you’d like to see them put BfA on sale again (something they’ve done a few times already), then you’ll want to post constructively in the General Forums. The Blues here are not liaison to the people who make those sorts of decisions.

Ummm a little confused here.
Games follow market trends. They listened to a lot of players and gave them the option they wanted. For less money.

I’ve played since Classic was actually retail. I’ve bought the base game and 7 expansions at (at least) full price. Now, you can buy the base game for a cheaper price and you get 6 expansions for free. Quit your whining.
Now then, unless they have announced that it will work differently, you can wait until BfA gets rolled into the base game, like they’ve done with every other expansion so far. No need to buy anything except the latest expansion.
And all this complaining means nothing right now. Shadowlands won’t be released for many months.

On one of my battle.net accounts, I have two wow licenses that are more or less active. I’ll get the highest level edition on one license for the account bound goodies and the lowest level edition on the other.
I need another 120 alt I don’t have time to equip like I need a hole in the head.

Not a complaint, just stating that I was ready to throw my money at Blizzard today, except for one small thing - I don’t have BfA - nothing in it interested me. I know, all I have to do is wait (as long as they follow previous patterns) - just that I was ready now :D!

It’s unfortunate that you couldn’t “throw money” for the last 6 weeks, when BfA was 50% off.
That’s quite a shame. You certainly missed out on some great storylines, cinematics, and many other features that can’t really be captured in a video trailer or on a website. But to each their own.
That said (and I could definitely be wrong about this because I haven’t watched all the discussions), but it does say “max-level” characters become 50 to enter the shadowlands. It’s possible that you may want to get BfA and level to 120 before release. Just so you aren’t back here on the first night, complaining that your level 100’s or 110’s are scaled down to below 50 and you can’t play the new expansion immediately, if that’s how it will be.

Naw, wouldn’t complain. This is the first expac (BFA) that I haven’t bought. I have my reasons. Perfectly willing toplay catchup when I am able too :D!

I dont understand what’s the fuss about here. 100 dollars includes: 120 boost, 30 days playing time a mount, armor sets, illusion and some other stuff. Not bad in my opionion. Save 10 or so a month shouldnt be too hard if you really like to play
