Hi…I need some help please with BFA cooking. My avatar, Gabriall on server Aggramar is an Alliance level 50 , is revered with all BFA factions listed (except Undum Accord) and at level 83 for BFA cooking. My problem is: though I was able to purchase the first 5 lvl 1 dessert recipes, I cannot purchase any additional level 1 cooking recipes. Traveled over to Vol’dun to see Hessir, who has 7 cooking recipes, that I should have been able to purchase at cooking lvl 75 but am unable to purchase these. I’ve spend hours on line trying to find the fix for my issue to no avail. I’m sure I’m just missing one key component but I just cannot figure it put. Could someone help me please ??
The cooking trainer in Boralus should have higher rank dessert recipes for you.
And since you are over cooking level 75, you should also have access to learning how to make “Large Meals” and “Light Meals” from the cooking trainer in Boralus.
Thanks all for getting back to me. I started with the cooking trainer in Boralus and, though he does have many recipes, none are available that I can learn. It just shouldn’t be this difficult to level a profession. Been playing WOW for 11 - 12 years and never have I had to struggle so much to enjoy myself…
One thing to always check with trainers - make sure your toggles on the options haven’t gone sideways. Sometimes they can reset. You’ll want to mess with them a bit, make sure it lands on the ones you can learn. May not be the case here, but it is somewhat common.
I’m a little fuzzy on BfA cooking at this point, but don’t forget the recipes do have different ranks. As you become a higher-skilled cook, you can tackle more efficient versions of the same dish.
