BFA, And Wod started out great

Why are people judging it is good or bad right now?

Don’t get me wrong, for the first time in like forever…I log on and feel like I got things to do besides chore list of gear grinds. Crafting feels amazing, gathering is better now that boxers got axed, and we still got the whole check list things if you feel like doing it.

I mean it feels great, but the failures of the past was the content that came after or in wod lack of content. So judging now is silly is it not?

BFA and WoD were TERRIBLE from start to finish.

They were both ESPECIALLY bad at the start.

Eh, Wod leveling was amazing and it did not start to feel bad until months later with how slow content patch came out, and it being lack luster.

BFA I enjoyed it at the start, it just the systems they had did not feel rewarding. The time investment vs reward was bad. Crafting was at its worse.

I personally hated BFA from start to finish. Leveling was the only decent thing in WoD.

No flying sucks.

Except we can already tell straight from the start that SL won’t have the same issues.

WoD had zero content, and we already have a grasp of what content SL has.

BFA had massive grinding and loot RNG, which we already know SL does not.

That was good then no flying made the game suck something horrible.

WoD was horrible on day 1, primarily because Garrisons, the most exciting new feature of the expansion, sucked all the fun out of every other part of the game due to how terribly implemented they were. Covenants have been giving me the same kind of vibe since beta.

I like no flying and know that we know that we will unlock pathfinder passivly, i am even more glad.

Except for revendreath, that is a hellish landscape to navigate

You can ALWAYS use a ground mount at ANY time. No logical reason flying should be locked away and not available right at max level.

I did not see that. Garrison was lack luster for sure, but we thought that content patches would add on to the garrison system to make it better. For a rough draft at the start of the expansion. The garrison system worked fine. It was Blizzard lack of creative use of the garrison, that hurt it.

Wod leveling was great and it was a good expansion for those who just want to raid log.
BFA sucked from day one until the last day.

Its true no one can say best expansion ever this early in it. But I can say that so far, its the most fun ive had in an expansion in years. Even though I hate the Maw.

Its not too early at all for first impressions.

I enjoyed BfA for the most part, I don’t care what anybody says. WoD on the other hand… I didn’t last a month

agreed. i thought bfa great for the first 2 weeks.

i am really enjoying this though

BFA was terrible, wod was only bad because it literally had nothing to do. If wod had as much treatment as the other later xpacs got, it would have been fine.

BFA was legit a heaping pile of a garbage and every dev that worked it should be forced to do 10 life times in revenderth, and thats just being kind.

I didn’t stick around to find out, when WoD launched I played for about a month before the Garrison burned me out, then I unsubbed and didn’t play again until Legion pre-patch.

If WoD didn’t start the dev’s war on flying and had more content then it might have been alright.

I’ll allow it.

Fair. I think people are like you, just so happy to have new things to do.

the problem was balancing it for the PvP community, and the problem with the pvp community, is too many people want to be a part of it. A good portion of those players at times don’t even want to partake in it.

And BfA and WoD ended great. Just because YOU don’t like them in the end and yes I know others didn’t like them either, but plenty of us quite enjoyed both. I do agree WoD didn’t have much in terms of overall content added throughout the expansion, but WoD had some great raids and I enjoyed the leveling.

BfA was the first expansion in quite awhile imo that had some great dungeons again. Waycrest Manor was amazing. Leveling was awesome and Drustvar was an amazing zone/story. Raids were great as well. I loved the extras added like IEs, Warfronts etc. Also had a new mega dungeon which was fun. Not as good as the Kara mega dungeon but I don’t think anything will top that for mega dungeons.

I am loving this expansion too so far. My only issue is I have only done 3 dungeons but all 3 were very meh imo. Hoping there are at least a couple that fun. But either way, I know I will still enjoy this expansion like I have every other one except Cata which for me will always be the worst.
