BEWARE belt unobtainable if you max console before quest

As long as you didn’t earn all 1700 titan shards, you are fine to continue the quest.

Yeah, that’s an ez bug to find, but as we know now WE are the WoW testers now :frowning:

I am for sure no where near that… I can only stomach so many Delves a week before I grow very tired of them.

Thanks! I will look for it today!

Good thing I decided to skip this mess entirely

The shards are warbound, so you could collect them on an alt (if you have one) as a workaround. Then again, they may not drop because your account has completed it, so I don’t know. Give it a shot at least.

I was looking for the Quest for Overcharged Delves. I cant find one in Dornogal. I went straight to Overcharged Delves. Went inside, see the Console at start, no quest. Started the Delve, still no quest. So I left and went back to Dornogal. Looked around. There’s really nothing.

Then I look at the internet. I saw one and it says look at the Adventure Guide. That’s where I found the starting quest for Overcharged Delves. The quest lead me to Overcharged Delves and asked me to get 50 Shards.

Completed the Overcharged Delves Tier 11 Skittering Breach with the Shards over 50.

Then I left WoW to pick my wife at the Airport.

WHen I return, I went back to Overcharged Delves Tier 11 Skittering Breach at the Console to turn in the quest. And it gave me the second quest asking for more 100 Shards. 1/4th of the run I realized I was already at 140 Shards. I returned back the to Console at starting point, turned in the quest. And it popped me the Third Quest asked me to kill 4 Pylons and complete the Overcharged Deoves. I already killed 1 pylon before that quest. But I killed 5 more pylons and finished the Delve. I used to Copter to return me at the starting point at the Console. I turned it in and it got me ilevel 691 Belt.

Good thing, I was looking for quest. Not to bash in and gun down everything. I need something in the game to tell me what to do. It was not automatic. It started on Adventure’s Guide.

Why would you complete the console before you do the quest? It must take like 20 runs to complete it

If you read the thread, I was more interested in grinding the mount quickly, I saw a YT video from the PTR that showed the quest pickup at the console in the delve. However that didn’t make it to live. But the console was unlocked, and I was there, so I ran the delve for an hour and some change to get the mount. I later went looking for the quest and eventually found it in Dornogal. But shards no longer drop after completing the console, so I cannot get the belt, and it’s account wide, so my entire account cannot get the belt

Weird,I did a few oc delves before I got the quest for the belt, and I was given retroactive credit for 50 discs. I still had to kill 4 lightning rods and beat another delve, but it was pretty smooth.

funny part is the OP new belt was part of it and still said nah ill ignore the quest even though i know i need it

That’s not what happened at all, the quest wasn’t given from the console, or a requirement of the console, like what is common in these cases, and by mistake. This was mistakenly missed by the Devs and has nothing to do with me, nor did I ignore anything.

before you edited your post you said * I logged in, went to an overcharged delve There was no quest to unlock the console I said screw it because i was already here and started to farm.*

instead of leaving and getting the quest which you went to the delve to try and get anyway. thus admitting you decided to ignore the quest because you didnt want to leave to go pick it up and then fly back…try and remember what you post before you try and edit it and hide what you said the first time

That does suck. Send in a ticket. I’m pretty sure most people just went and did the quest. Took me like 20 minutes. Quest was at console …took quest, did delve, got belt. Wasn’t even aware you could do it any other way. I’m sure of you just send a ticket they can reset that for you.

only way they can fix it is making them drop after maxing out the tree but no one is going to want that later down the road having to always delete them after each delve. we get enough useless stuff we have to always delete bc has no vendor price we dont need more. unless they made them vendor for 1 copper then that i can see being a option

There has got to be a way to put the belt in his inventory…that just simply doesn’t make sense if they can’t give it to him. He should just have one next time he logs in.

Yea, this doesn’t seem like it was stress tested too far. Considering how many quests they have had in past, or even recently such as the Horrific Visions that require intros prior to farming.

A little weird that the belt wasn’t part of the initial entry to the overcharged delves themselves.

That and the previously stated equal drop rate between tiers. Outside of the weekly crests, running 11s is kinda pointless after that.

they could do that to but no toon has done the quest at all, only other option would be GM could put 50 in his bag for him for quest

That would work too.
