Blizzard could solve SO MANY problems by denying people without subscriptions access to the Classic forums.

I think game developers have developed quite a thick skin for mudnoises. Even, if the stuff comes out badly there are some things in some of those noises that they, maybe haven’t thought about. You could think they are doing their part of beta testing and brain storming.

Most people interested this game don’t have an active subscription, so it wouldn’t really be any good to deny them access.

I completely understand this. I’m just addressing a ridiculous complaint with an even more ridiculous solution.

Its a balance of ridiculousity.

How is it a ridiculous complaint?

Requiring an active sub for a chance to be in the beta is pretty obviously a cash grab. This is the 1st beta they have ever required an active sub for. It’s basically being like we need $45 for early access to our game, and everything you do in the early access won’t matter because we’ll erase it when we launch the game.

People shouldn’t have to pay to play the lottery to get into the beta. It should be just a simple opt in like every other beta they’ve ever done.

except we don’t know if they meant to get an invite you also needed a sub, or just to play in the beta.

Let’s see in a couple of weeks if we haven’t gotten clarification if non subbers got an invite or not.

lol oh yah, the toggle for classic in beta options seems like a very recent addition though, can’t say for sure as its been awhile since I looked.

I guess we will know in the next few days, depends on when they do an invite wave.

wait the invites start tommorrow not the beta.

*Dates of each stress test are subject to change.

Beginning May 15, select WoW players will be invited to participate in a small-scale, focused closed beta test.
