Beta needs active account, Legion or BfA?

We all know that to have a chance for a Beta invite you need an active account, but does that have to be a BfA active account or can it just be a Legion active account?

I don’t think you need BFA. It doesn’t matter. They are only inviting for the stress tests. I doubt anyone else is getting full beta invites

Someone posted saying their wife got in at the start of the beta invites and she didn’t have BFA. So if that post isn’t lying, they don’t require you to have BFA.

Yeah, the requirements is that you purely have a subscription, whatever expansions you do or do not own doesn’t matter.

I don’t think it would matter, but I honestly would not pay for a sub if you don’t actually want to play the game. They already said that this is going to be a really small beta and if you are subbing just for a chance in, then you’re kind of setting yourself up for disappointment.

Yeah but I play in the EU so that’s kind of a given, having an active NA account will probably increase my chances.

Do Legion accounts qualify for beta?

As long as it has game time it is considered a full retail account. Full does not mean “up to the last expansion”.
