Best way(s) to get oil for Garrison?

I keep running out of oil. Is there a place to farm or can it be bought on auction houses like the supplies?

From what I remember, a lot of it came from Tanaan.

You’d have to get most of it in tanaan until your charecter get’s an acheivement from doing a certain number of naval missions, then the oil naval mission unlocks and you can get oil that way.

I always got more than I could use by doing garrison table missions.

Yeah, I see a lot in my more advanced Garrisons’ table missions, but I’m not sure if you have to progress the docks, or Tanaan storyline, past a certain point where that happens…

I always squeeze it out of Trolls. Darkspear Trolls are the best. They only give about a quart per, so…you need a lot of them.

Tanaan dailies. Get enough rep to unlock the daily oil mission for your shipyard that has a 100% guaranteed sucees rate.

Bulging Barrel of Oil on the AH are always plentiful and cheap.

Yup.
Just buy it off the AH, many players has tons of them stocked up.

The Huge Ogre Cache, on the other hand… the price has gone way up now that people need garrison resources for leveling in WoD.

There’s a daily quest from the command table in Volmar that gives oil.

And whatever the counterpart to Volmar is in that zone for you silly Alliance types.

Look for Barrel of oil on the AH.
