I was trying to get the heirloom ring when I realized leveling is so fast and easy that trying to get this ring (farming oil and dealing with missions) was taking longer than just leveling! If you already have the full set bonus then wasting time getting this ring is a trap!

Iāve been working on finishing all my Draenor achievements, which include a lot of the missions anyway, so might as well try to get the ring too. It only takes about ten minutes to collect the phat lootz from yesterday, and dispatch a whole set of new ones.
But yeah, once you get the required rep level to buy the oil platform for the naval missions itās a piece of cake. Follower missions from the main board only ever gave me <100 per day, even with the +oil attribute.
Tanaan dailies, and if you get enough rep you can buy the oil rig and get oil from naval missions.
