Hi all is there a method that does NOT violate TOS to keep your toon logged into the world eg. after you spend 12 hours in queue to get in, get to play for 20 minutes but say need to take the kids to school and don’t want to face another 12 hr queue as soon as you get back home?
A keyboard macro or something, I’m not too familiar with that sorcery. Is it against TOS?
Considering buying a pecking bird for my spacebar. Is it allowed?
I wish there was a way, I’ve been in queue for 7 hrs, got 50 minutes left and it’s 2:09am and I am falling asleep. Going to try to log back in tmrw and need to wait 7+ hrs again.

I tried taping my phone on vibrate to my keyboard once a long time ago for a similar circumstance to stay in a vanilla AV, and text it from a friend’s phone every 5ish minutes to make it vibrate… didn’t work.

Luckily I have portable wifi + playing at work
Never gonna disconnect! Already level 12:P
The log in time is 100% stupid and a slap in our face from blizzard. I’m thinking it’s time blizzard gets taken down a notch. #class action lawsuit

Is keyboard software macro illegs?
I don’t know how any of you are seriously staying on these over populated servers. Re-roll, actually have fun on a server that doesnt make you wait 12 hours.

It is hard to convince your friends to move also. In t he beginning OCE only had 1 realm to choose from especially.
My group of friends and I moved four different times after every server we ended up in became full. We want to experience classic together. Even if that means we are behind the pack. Moving sucked. Losing all the progress we kept having sucked but being able to actually play together. It was worth it in the end. I hope you find a solution.
if you just read you could see that they said they had to go afk to take kids to school, idk about you but its nearly impossible to play wow while driving children to school

Because once a lot of people leave because they dont enjoy the time sink I feel like population will drop a lot. Then the medium pop realms will drop to low and I enjoy a lot of WPvP consistently
Play on a different server. Problem solved.

I think an easier option is to play on a server that isn’t full

Remember that you are only seeing a 10th of the number of people that are on the realm because of layers. As they collapse and remove the layers as people leave, so does the capacity. It is quite possible that for the highest over-subscribed realms that they may always have a queue.
Also, when the layers are removed… if less that 90% of the people leave; you may end-up seeing MORE people when the server is a low or medium server than now.
If you are a PvP person, what is more important is Horde/Alliance balance.
Best of luck in your adventures.
You do realize the lower population servers will be near dead in 6 months? Anyone who rolled on those servers will regret it later. I’d rather deal with the queue times now and still have a healthy population in the future.

A auto button mouse. Find a quit inn somewhere and find a corner and just run into it while your at work or whatever. A friend did this and it worked just fine.
classic does not die, its like crack, but the server is only made to last 2 -2.5 years so after naxx it drops off big time. Some people will keep playing and pvping or level alts, but most will roll on a new server to start over.
