There is this little family run pizza joint in a strip mail near me. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if most people wouldn’t set foot in it (it looks run down and is take out only) but damn if they do not make the best pizza around.

With that said Chicago style pizza can be really tasty too. I guess that I just love pizza in all shapes

Every time I try one of those fancy pizza places it tastes like crap. I’d much prefer Dominos to just about all of them.

The other day me and my wife had Firo Pizza, for the first time.
It’s like Subway, but for Pizza. In the sense that you build it in front of you.
And then it’s cooked in this big pizza oven.
It was really good. We were surprised, wasn’t expecting much.
Not the best pizza in the world, of course, but it’s solid if you happen to see one around, I would recommend.
The best “Pizza” i’ve personally had though was a Calzone from Bella Italia. If Calzones count.
PS a lot of talk about if Chicago Pizza is Pizza, sure it is.
Just don’t be one of those people that calls Pizza, Pie.

I haven’t found it better than Filippi’s Pizza Grotto, The Works, or the Killer Pizza from Mars. Rocco’s makes a really good calzone. Sadly, I don’t live in Escondido anymore.
There was a pizzeria in the Outer Banks, Nag’s Head. Fresh crust, sweet sauce, layers of cheese and pepperoni, and more sauce…
This was 20 years ago, I lived there; so it may not be there anymore.

New York Style crust with, White sauce, mozzarella cheese, Chicago sausage, chicken breast drizzled with BBQ sauce, nacho flavored Doritos chips, jalapenos, onions, cheddar cheese.
