Best Magical Fantasy Forests in WoW

And I do not mean Azure Span, Howling Fjord and Grizzly Hills! They are not Magical Fantasy Forests.

There are Magical Fantasy Pine Forests I’m sure but the only example in WoW is Darkshore and artistically it isn’t impressive.

In my opinion title of Best Magical Fantasy Forests goes to Val’sharah, the Emerald Garden(from Ohn’ahran Plains), Blademoon Bloom(from Shadowmoon Valley), Sholazar Basin and Ardenweald.

They are more Magical and Fantastical than any other Forest in WoW! Anyone agree?

Suramar’s gardens are rather impressive too. sure they arent a whole forest. but still!

They did pretty great with Ardenweald. And I have to give a mention to oldschool Feralas.

I agree with every entry. Imagine how much more impressive the Emerald Gardens are about to become with Amardrassil towering overhead

And this world tree isn’t going to burn. Players are having no more of that and blizzard hears us loud and clearly in the issue which is why all Five Aspects are making it priority number one, the centaur stand firm in the defense of anything The Dreamer asks them to help protect and tauren are being called by a loa to move there.

Loved them myself!

Forgot to include the Jade Forest to my list of Best Magical Fantasy Forests.

Magical Fantasy Places outside of Forests include the aforementioned Suramar Gardens, Bastion’s Gardens, Zereth Mortis’s Gardens, the Ruby Life Pools and Shadowmoon Valley.

Amardrassil will probably be a Forest too or even a portal to the Emerald Dream itself!

Blizzard always corrupts their forests in WoW. Except for maybe Elwynn and Feralas.

My Wallpaper Screenshots show off the wonder and awe of the locales.

Which is exactly why I am waiting for tomorrow for daylight so that I can get a couple of good Screenshots of the Emerald Gardens.

The blades edge ones are pretty nifty, even the ones in netherstorm being kept alive in their own little ecosystem domes.

Eversong woods will always be a favourite of mine.

The ambiance, the levelling experience, the terrain, the feeling of “eternal spring” mixed with the orange hues of the trees.

Honestly if the area was just given a graphic update…it would be outstanding.

Ain’t sure this counts, but my favorite ‘forest’ zone is Talador. I love the look and the music.

Say what you will of WoD, but Talador was great.

Crystalsong.

Eversong Woods environment looks more autumn than spring to me.

If we’re just going with fantasy, my favorites are probably TBC Zangarmarsh with the mushroom trees and Crystalsong Forest.

I liked old Ashenvale (other than the Horde areas because they deforested a good chunk of the eastern part of the zone). It had furbolgs, wisps, enchanted pools, and a big portal to the Emerald Dream guarded by dragonoids. Plus, it had that lovely night elf music.

Those are all great areas.

I also really love Ashenvale, and maybe it’s nostalgia but when I played it all over again in classic I loved that zone all sober again.
