So settle this debate. I am sure most people will say elves but I really think nothing can beat the trolls. But that is just my opinion.
Well considering 2 of the 3 hero talents for hunters are elf themed, seems Blizz thinks elves are best for hunters. Really any race can be a good hunter since all it takes is a weapon, ranged or two handed, and a pet or few.

Yes but some people are just better at it. And I find it rather unfair that elves are over represented here.
As with every class, Forsaken.
Why? Because a little region exists that’s called Westfall. Which has southern/western American drawl accents in quest dialogue, red bandanas, wide brim hats and gunpowder.
Which means cowboy hunters can be a thing.
So isn’t that an argument for Elwynian Hunters?
Well, no. Because some of them no doubt got drafted and were sent to fight the Forsaken during either the events of Cataclysm or the Blood War.
Where upon they were raised and made, yes indeed ladies and gentlemen,

Came here to say this. I remember thinking how badass the Thunderlord Clan was seeing them in WoD for the first time, felling Gronn and all.
I always pick a Orc Hunter when I play Classic.

Best lore race? Coin toss between tauren and trolls.
Best animations? Draenei, easily. The Rangari were also a cool addition to their lore in WoD.

If we’re talking Beastmaster Hunters specifically, it’s Orcs (and it ain’t close). Unless we’re counting Mok’nathal. And if we are, there’s not a lot of counting to do.

wod is such a toss-up to me in the lore, like on the one hand i think it was and always will be lazy to make orcs just generically warlike and brutal by nature, but on the other the people doing lore for the draenei absolutely cooked. i do wish they had some more of the piousness from their mainline versions, but i just did really overall like their vibes in wod
