Honestly tho…most realistic per game lore horde would be Trolls and Alliance nelf although I think Dwarfs could give Nelfs a run for their pelts.
I went NELF for my first hunter. Looks great with a bow and I like the way she moves while fighting.
I went Mecha for the second one for the same reason as you: Full mech fantasy

If you don’t mind how the male Draenei look [I’m personally not a fan], they do have a real nice gun animation, where they flip it in between loading. I do envy them for that [not enough to play them, but regardless].

Almost all gear looks good on human. If you like to change up mogging between guns and bows > humans. If you know you prefer to always mog bows > night elves, always guns > dwarfs. Gnomes are awesome with guns too, but it can get tiresome to get stuck in small cracks in the environment or swim in every puddle of water.
