I’m asking for nearly exclusive PVE content. I’m not sure if the Orc’s extra pet damage is better than the Troll racials.
Also, style points matter, so I welcome thoughts on that.

Whichever one you like to play. Any differences are so small it doesn’t really matter, especially in TBC
why would you play a horde hunter and it NOT be an orc???

No comparison for PvE with their increased pet damage.
it’s 5% in tbc right? cuz it’s… 1% in retail. it’s still one of, if not THE best, racials for BM and demo still to this day.

BM is the spec of choice and Orcs still have their pet-specific boost so have at it, plus Blood Fury or w/e it is called.
Troll is a close second thanks to so many BiS ranged weapons being bows along with Berserking.
orc baby. 5% pet dmg is big, plus blood fury gets updated to also include ranged attack power, which it currently does not.
also, for me, i like orc better than troll/tauren anways

you have a /dance that should get you a game vacation though. and male orcs have BiS shoulder mogs. easy choice.
If you can stand looking at Male Orc shoulders for longer than 5 minutes you belong in a loony bin.
I’m going to need eye bleach for when all the Male Orcs get t5 and become wider than they are tall.
all my horde alts were originally orcs if they could be one. right now i have: warlock, hunter, warrior, maghar dk, maghar priest. i love it. my rogue was originally an orc. and so was my shaman. decided 7 or whatever it was was a bit much so race changed.
When it comes to style points, Trolls always win.
I guess the Orcs have good racial abilities though, especially for BM.
if you could combine zanda and darkspear i’d agree. i like darkspears hunch but the model is too skinny. the zanda model is thicker but imo they look stupid as crap standing upright the way they do. and their animations aren’t good.

I’ll second this. My short stint as Horde during WoD had me playing a Female Orc DK and frankly I don’t think I’ll play any other race/sex combo on Horde-side again. The armor proportions are just perfect.
If your going to bm orc is best UNLESS you min max beserking to be the 30% bonus attack speed every time AND you are BM.
If you plan on being the token SV hunter for that debuff, troll is actually better due to less of the power being in the pet.
For pvp, blood elf is likely the best.
Meh, they really botched the female bow animation, I couldn’t stand it, it’s almost like a sprite animation.
