That’s not really true. Chromie Time gear has 2-3 sockets each depending on the slot, while Nethershard gear has 1 socket max.
Dude totally. Right? I didn’t even need to do it. Blizz thought I was so awesome, they just sent it in the mail.
If your gear has 2-3 sockets on it, then those sockets are part of the item budget, meaning you lose other stats to “pay” for those sockets.
That socket is the new Bonus Socket system, which is entirely free of any itemization cost.
And it’s also ilvl 50. Meaning you’ll always have the max stat amounts for the slot, on top of a free socket on them (if you reroll enough), instead of going for sub-50 items with sockets that cost you stats.
Totally yeah. The current mage tower for Bear is not anywhere near one of the hardest. It’s not a triple digit one for sure. You get so many tools as a Bear to deal with all the mechanics, it’s really not hard.
I know, people just suck. I made a second account to prove it. I went in there with no gear on, no consumables, nothing and the boss literally jumped off the platform when he saw me because I’m just so awesome. Bim bam bow, got my new form. All these dozens of guides on YouTube need to git gud. “Have you tried actually pressing more than your ALT TAB? Haha get rekt!” That’s my guide for them. Absolute poggers bro.
I didn’t, but then again, maybe I just know how to push buttons
Yeah man. High five.
Some people just can’t be as awesome as us. I bet you’re lying about the 15 attempts, just to not blow our minds at how good you are. It’s okay, you can tell the truth. It took you, what, 1? 2 attempts? With no timewalking gear, no consumes, no enchants, nothing man. If only you could do it repeatedly, right? Like, if you cleared it 10 times in a row, without dying once, you get the old forms too. Wouldn’t be much of a big deal for us, cause we’re just that good.
I mean, you’re obviously 10x better than me, and the rest of the Guardian population, but you know what I mean.
Of course they can be. But it requires less sarcasm and more listening to people who offer advice.
Good luck on your adventures my friend.
Yeah, if only the 5 different guides I watched were actually offering constructive advice instead of just bragging. I don’t get how these guys sleep at night. Like, I get it bro, you’re flexing on us, can you actually make sense to me and help me with the fight? Ugh lol.
You though, you must have helped like 5 to 10 people do this by now, with your peak wisdom and skill. Hats off to you sir. The game needs more tutors and people willing to share their abilities. That’s what I want to get into someday. Like actually helping OTHER people, instead of just myself.
If I could carry people through the Guardian challenge, I would, totally. Not even charge gold for it. Just do it for free. It’s just THAT easy for me. Too bad it’s a solo thing though. I would love to give back to my community.
Yeah, here’s some :
Right, I agree with you! That’s really all the info you’d ever need to finish like every challenge in the Mage Tower. Sorry, I didn’t see that. I’m gonna go ahead and impart this wisdom to clear every single challenge. Since they’re so easy, it should take me roughly 5 attempts total, (obviously excluding the ones where I one-shot it, due to this amazing revelation.)
Here’s a tip for the bear challenge : Do it on Vengeance first. Learn the mechanics with literally the easiest class there is to deal with all them and that can negate the auto-death mechanic with Space Bar.
Then do it on Bear, which is probably the 2nd or 3rd easiest. That way you skip the step of learning the encounter while learning bear.
There is really no single talent setup that’ll auto win. It’s all about doing the mechanics. Whatever enables you to do that easiest is the best talent setup for you.
Totally man. I think the fact that Guardians can glide around should make it really easy to settle into.
I dunno. I actually found bear to be the number 1 easiest challenge, hands down. I mean do you really think Blizzard would make the only challenge that rewarded something other than a crappy recolor actually hard? Blizz loves giving out cool things for (basically) free.
Like I said, I didn’t do it in 15 attempts like you did, but it was really no big deal. I can clearly see you know what you’re talking about, so that’s why I assumed you had done it in less than 15 and were just trying to not make us all feel bad.
Hey champ, how about another high five?
See, the thing is, when you can negate the bump back, it allows you to see more of the encounter and get more practice in. You’ll learn not to get hit by the knockback too, which then makes it easier to complete on a class that cannot as easily negate the knockback. Once you can replace Sigil of Silence with Incap Roar and you know when to pop lust and pots while not panicking, Bear will be easier to deal with with a reduced pull count.
On top of Bear negating P1 pretty much with Balance affinity + Heart of the Wild.
I get what you’re doing with all the sarcasm, but you know, at least someone here is being helpful to people.
?
I’m not being sarcastic, I legitimately think you’re good and have knowledge to share.
That’s what I’m saying? I’m confused.
Can I get a screen shot that says hi sly?
Sure thing buddy
Thank you!
The best gear is ilvl 50 pieces that drop with gem slots. Being ilvl 50 is important so you can use powerful old enchants and your main stat gems. You can get this stuff from Legion raids. Also the vendor on the broken shore by the mage tower, those gear tokens can upgrade with gems. It’s rng but it’s another thing you can farm.
This guide should point you in the right direction. Keep in mind no gear will make it easy, one shot mechanics will still one shot you.
This is the guide I used to get my book mount. The consumables are important. GL!
Guide loooks decent but a little hard to navigate.
I farmed up a ton of the socketed leather TBC items (For my dr00d) with the help of my wife, if you can get someone to help you with a 45-48 leather user helps a ton. The harder part is gemming all those suckers, I spent like three months farming gems from Dragon Soul on multiple alts to get agility gems. Consumables make a huge difference, then its just suffering till you learn all the mechanics and or get lucky. Had the artifact weapon, legion cloak (not socketed tho but had like, +speed on it) and some socketed higher level rings.
Oh legion trinkets, dunno if they are the same for rogues but for guardian druid they are incredibly helpful.
