Best designed spec

Because it existed longer than I’ve been alive isn’t an argument to be living in nostalgia and don’t change anything. In facts, every success story breeds innovation. Keep posting on those forums with your 31k posts. I’m sure it’s some sort of good education

MOP Warlock any spec.

I love Sunfury Mage. It’s a lot of fun.

Disco MoP era.

Ah… Old Atonement… RIP. u_u

That would be a great way to get a lot of people to quit.

the game is bleeding players, at this point you have to stop giving barebone expansion and try to innovate

How is it innovating to make the game more streamlined, less depth to the gameplay?

Removing the tank/healer/dps roles is not innovating. Its not something new. Its removing a core aspect to copy some other gameplay type.

And it would cause a wide spread exodus.

Plus I mean… you can innovate without throwing out the framework. Players already can’t handle when a single thing gets changed about their spec. Imagine if their entire role was out the window.

Definitely.

I would like to see the “innovation” within the group roles themselves. Rather than just turn everyone into dps.

I know it’s kind of contentious for people, but that’s really why I loved Augvoker a lot on release. I like buff/boon classes in other MMOs, and while I feel aug’s in a weird place, I do like how it has a place, y’know?

I’d kill for another spec like it with a few different approaches. The Bard dream hasn’t died for me yet.

Enhancement Shaman is an absolute masterpiece right now. Whoever worked on that spec’s rework should be very proud of themselves.

The Frost/Unholy DK, Fire Mage, Arcane Mage, and WW Monk reworks from this expansion are also wonderful, but that Enhancement rework is spectacular is truly a cut above the rest.

Also: delete Aug.

That’s why this game has no younger generation joining, there’s no innovation and the game runs from nostalgia built in the past.

You know there are MMOs that have done this, right?

CoH didn’t have a strict holy trinity, either.

The tank specs are all well designed. hero talents giving options of either more defensive or offensive tanks

Agreed. Ret in general this expansion is one of the best iterations of the spec. Templar feels really good to play, too.

I like enhancement right now, got some rough edges but more right than wrong. For totemic will be sad to lose rebound procing off stormstrike, but it coming off lightning, chain lightning, and ele blast will prolly be a good overall alternative.

I’d party if meta warlock returned tho, especially as a tank spec.

The new lighter than air talent for monks makes it one of the funnest classes I have to play. Completely negates knock back, eliminates fall damage, you can cut across a lot of delves with it. If there’s a slight decline in the terrain, so help me I’m going flying 200ft just because I can.

Further evidence that aldrachi reaver was designed by a non-dh. AR is the worst designed abomination to most havoc demon hunters, you can absolutely take it from us as long as you promise to never give it back.

GW2 tried this. They had to move back towards having healers and somewhat tanks because you can’t design good pve endgame group content without them.

To the OP, its Ret Pally.

I’m also enjoying the WW monk rework quite a bit, and especially love stacking haste now. But, the hero talents are a pretty big flop.
