Best designed spec

Hi,

Want your opinion on this. What’s for you the best designed spec considering class tree + spec tree + hero.

I question for PVE at large.

Mop monk, then legion demon hunter.

Templar Ret Pally seems smooth and well designed to me.

I play a lot of classes, these two just own in the fun and performance department at the moment…

Augmentaion Evoker. This must be a wake up call that we don’t need a tank and healer role anymore. It should be support class/DPS and Pure DPS. This tank,heal,dps trinity must be abandoned

Best: Stormbringer enhance shammy

Worst: Trickster Outlaw Rogue, followed very closely by Trickster Sub Rogue.

No it shouldn’t. Aug is the most boring and worst designed support spec I’ve ever played in an MMORPG. And nothing should be deleted for that crap.

You’re living in the past Sendryn. The game would be much healthier if we abandoned tank and healer spec. I’m not saying make everything like Augmentation Evoker, but some kind of hybrid support and DPS role.

Templar’s cool, but I’m liking Herald more as far as paladins go, personally.

Also, gotta agree with Emef and disagree with Sendryn. Augmentation’s fun (dev scalecommander’s pretty fun too tho).

No, I’m just not dumb enough to delete specs and roles people enjoy and give Blizz money to play. Especially for the worst type of support spec design. Not to mention the entire redesign that would need to happen to the game.

They did do a pretty good job with it.

You’re the reason and type of player why the MMO genre is stagnant and dieing. Tanks and healers are the least played specs and a majority of these players playing those spec don’t even enjoy it, they do it because they get into a group faster. Keep living in the past while inhaling that nostalgia cope smoke.

I kinda like hellcaller affliction lock. It’s cooldowns actually work. Soul rot - 1 minute. Vile taint - 30 seconds. Malevolence - 1 minute. Eyeballman - 2 minutes.

Interesting cause I come from destro lock and don’t find it fun for me.

ST nothing complicated, no proc, no particular interaction interesting for me.
And M+ rain…

Diabolist Demo is the most fun I have had with Demo since MoP. I no longer can make jokes about being an imp master.

Ehhhhhhhhh I don’t think I agree with this.

The holy trinity might not be the most fresh thing, but I think the reason it sticks around is because it does work, and other MMOs that have tried deviating from it haven’t had much success. Not only does it work, but people do like it. It’s what’s familiar. GW2 in particular comes to mind with how they tried their approach to the trinity, and eventually they conformed to what their contemporaries did, just with a few more deviations.

The trinity shouldn’t be deleted. It should be iterated upon however. I like the idea of having something in between that can allow for more fluid strategies and more interesting gameplay. Support classes are a step in the right direction, though I think Augmentation needs more roles similar to it to make things more interesting.

Feral for melee pvp
Enhance for melee pve
Compared to the other options I just think the nature of bear form and cyclone/stealth work really well in the current game where you have the most variety in influence so you never should come across a fight you’re completely ignorant towards.
For enhance I think their cleave fantasy is well done, their single target is nothing special but the bar isn’t that high, healing is awkward with maelstrom but their utility and totems are solid atm.

Ranged all feel the same to me, rapid fire everything, 10 second windows every 10 seconds, “ramp” is non existent relative to apm so you’re just left with performance ramp, which to me is sort of meh ranged design. Ironically aldrachi reaver ability interaction is really good ranged design imo.

This MMORPG has existed probably longer than you’ve been alive. It has developed as it needs to, but is smart enough to not alienate the dedicated population, yet can still make some changes to attract a new type of player.

You do that in marketing by not making massive changes and massive deletions and revamps.

I was enjoying Augmentation during remix and was anxious to give it a try when TWW started, and I quickly realized I had enjoyed it because it was remix and went back to Devastation.
