Hard disagree on gruuls lair being the worst. Both bosses are pretty fun in their own right, but how can you forget how bad Hyjal was? If you’ve only ever done it at max level on retail, it’s not so bad…but progressing on it at level 70? Yeah not looking forward to those nights tbh
Best - Nagrand is boring/crowded but nice and Blade’s Edge has fun quests but horrible roads.
Worst - Hellfire Peninsula (Good intro when you initially level but after that I never wanna go back)
Dungeons -
Best - Shadow Lab. Great bosses, challenging trash, cool environment/story.
Steam vaults second place for similar reasons.
Worst - Shattered Hall’s and all the Netherstorm dungeons. They’re all just so annoying because of the extra trash and weird nuisances.
Raids -
Best - Obviously Karazhan is the best. However SSC is a very close second. SSC had a lot of great bosses with fun mechanics/themes.
Worst - Hyjal. No question it’s Hyjal. The place is literally a Greek hell when you’re progressing. You have to clear the trash all over again after each and every wipe on the boss. You thought AQ had a lot of trash? It’s maddening.
Zone:
Best - Netherstorm, I loved the Manaforge quests, the domes and the overall design/aura.
Worst - Terrokar Forest, just boring.
Dungeon:
Best - Magister’s Terrace!! On heroic this is hands down one of the biggest challenges in all of WoW, and was extremely well done.
Worst - Black Morass, ugh.
Raid:
Best - Black Temple. Love the boss designs and the lore.
Worst - Hyjal. Definitely.
