Just now realized that Berserker Stance doesn’t just increase physical damage taken, but all damage taken. I used to assume this was just physical damage, a basic tradeoff that increased your damage while making about as durable as a Rogue.
But, no! All your DPS warriors are taking 10% more damage from any source, including magic. No other DPS has to work with that handicap.
This means your DPS Warriors are actually more of a liability than any other class.

Yeah, but that sweet, sweet crit though. You haven’t enjoyed DPSing until you hit the execute phase of the final raid boss of the expansion.

Are you kidding - priest die to a warriors charge stun and you are saying they are “handicapped”

That’s so cool! I’ll tell my Priests that the next time we fight Gruul. I’m sure that’ll be useful information.

The melee hate this expac is kind of ridiculous. People just wanna play the classes they enjoy the most.

It’s because nearly every fight has an anti-melee mechanic to it.
Also, Locks. Holy broken batman.
I mean I get that but you can still clear everything with some melee sprinkled in your raids. Shunning melee entirely is a little over-the-top.

See, I played a Rogue in Vanilla TBC. DW Combat Swords.
I’m playing Fury now because while like the idea of just slicing up things with two swords, being an armored juggernaut in addition to slicing things up two swords seems more appealing.
But I feel so fragile all the time! My Rogue was far more durable than this!
Sweat lords man. It’s why so many classes were called “meme” specs in Vanilla Classic. The min/max culture is the problem by far.
We’re planning on 2 rogues, an arms warrior, and a kitty for our final 25 man comp. But I know what you’re talking about. There’s a big opinion about just stacking locks and hunters due to DPS output alone.
Ultimately, the higher end community wants to just zerg through everything and be bored on the back end. They’re ignoring that the average 10 man KZ group is doing double the DPS needed for the place. We had one week where the overall DPS was 6k. 1k short of Gruul… So yea, everyone is outplaying the content in general.

I’m playing my Fury Warrior right now. Out questing and figuring out how the class/spec works/functions.
I guess I’m just voicing my frustration with it as I’m realizing just how poorly-designed the class/spec truly is in TBC. The 10% increased damage isn’t the only thing. Pummel can’t be used universally, for instance. Rampage wasn’t designed as a passive stacking ability and must instead be activated manually.
Little things like that that make playing Fury all the more frustrating. Plain and simple.

So, you chose to play a class, and now you’re mad that the class is designed that way? The same way it was designed 15 years ago? Maybe you should consider doing research before choosing something.

I tried a warrior once in original TBC—geared thru Kara/ZA and realized warriors just aren’t my cup of tea. I think I played some slam spec and I just wasn’t very good with it
Ya, warriors were much more complex, a bit of advice from someone who also played a war in tbc and wotlk. Learn to stance dance and make a weapon swap macro. Gonna make life much easier.

Just pop your recklessness and death wish. You’ll be fine.

berserker stance is a dps buff its only a handicap if youre aggroing everything and trying to tank it stop tanking in berseker stance
I’ve always hated TBC Resil… crits are such a fun thing to see and reducing the chance/dmg from crits makes me sad.
They moved Death Wish to Arms.
Sorry, that was meant to be tongue in cheek.
Doesn’t really work if you don’t know how the class currently works.
Did you do the math? I don’t think you did the math.
Let’s do some math. What’s 10% of 5000. 500
What’s 10% of 2500. 250.
What’s 10% of 1000. 100
Now let’s ask some real questions. If you’re taking 5k damage as a dps warrior. You just messed up big time. Even still the 500 extra damage penalty is negligible. You’re still alive if you have enough stamina, and healers can easily cover it.
You just took 2.5k damage from unavoidable raid damage? Big deal. You still have lots of life left. The extra 250 damage is meaningless.
You get my point.
