Benthic gear is too OP for Mythic Raiding

The benthic bonuses only work in Nazjatar and the eternal palace. BGs and arenas are safe.

You aren’t thinking big enough, that’s way too many hoops to expect a reasonable player to jump through. Think bigger. Bigger.

Yall are also missing how much is involved in getting 1 Bentic to 425. They start at 385. 20 pearls to make it 400, 10 pearls for 405, 20 pearls for 410, etc, etc, etc… Youre doing days of quests to get 1 item level capped. Not to mention all the rng for a socket. It takes running a raid to get a similar item vs running days of content for 1 peice. Just stop guys. Its a dumb argument.

I know. it’s so ridiculous when someone who obviously doesn’t raid mythic tells people who obviously do how things work with mythic raids and mythic raiders.

mythic raiders absolutely will grind manapearls until they get that bis socketed benthic piece, then level it up. Gear matters, and not getting a piece that’s superior to anything that drops in the raid because someone on the forums thinks it’s “a dumb argument” is simply not the reality.

I don’t think they are ruining the game, but often blizzard makes changes based on the strategies mythic raiders use. For example, during the world first race, mythic guilds chose to use a ton of shadow priests to fight The Restless Cabal in Crucible because the way the fight was structured allowed shadow priests to be pretty op.

However, instead of fixing the fight, blizzard chose to nerf shadow instead.

So how about instead of changing the benthic gear, how about if they focus on fixing the raid gear rewards so that people will want to run the raids more than one time.

Uh, my main was 412 pre patch. Dont act like raiding is hard. Its not. You can pug mythic raids without voice.

You don’t need the socket for it to be better than mythic warforges. The socket’s just a “nice to have” kind of thing if you really want to go that extra mile.

I forgot to mention im casual. Adults dont raid 3 to 5 hours a night. We work for a living. I have a business to run so yah I’m casual. For a guy that logs one or 2 days a week for a few hours, 412 isnt bad.

So you’re saying the system is working? The whole point is to get people to grind, the more they’re grinding the longer they’re playing the game. That’s the whole point of the game to keep players playing. It just seems like Blizzard did something right then. Just like pathfinder(spits on ground). You create a grind people grind and pay.

Yup math beats everything. If damage only care for damage output those boots are great just for the raid. Not other content though. Like mythic +. The effect statets in either the raid or nazjatar. So I guess if you only care about raiding this might peeve you off strangely…? I don’t raiders. The rewards are still great and better outside of raiding.

Just pugging heroic and a few mythic bosses with 1 Mythic 10 or 11 a week. Not a big deal.

the effect only works in the raid so how will it be BiS for mythic+ and pvp when mythic warforging gear exists?

The warrior tauren was complaining that the fabled mythic 455 boots with a socket won’t be bis. I’m saying that yes those boots will be bis but not in the raid combat. (I guess yea it can be confusing if not specifying which boot your talking about)

It’s too early for them to adjust things but I’m sure if they notice this being an issue most or all of those dps procs/attributes on the benthic gear will be nerfed, wouldn’t want mythic raiders to clear content any faster, I also find it funny for those that aren’t end game players that haven’t a clue how it works. I mean I wouldn’t be playing if my end game ended with anything less than mythic though.
