The counter point was made.
The top .01% shouldn’t dictate what 99.98% of the wow population does, or is capable of doing.

I believe quality of rewards should be tied to difficulty of content. The more difficult the better the rewards.
I don’t agree with the new reward philosophy of high quality items for any quality content with an RNG factor that could potentially make it the BIS.
Whoa dude. I’m going to need you to get hyped up or something.
No room for level headed opinions in GD.
Can we get someone in here to kick this guy in the shins? He’s not even a little bit mad.
Who is dictating?
Again I’ll ask, do you think that reward quality should be tied to content difficulty?
If not what do you see as a valid method of determining the quality of reward?
They frequently gang up on me and mass report, And I’m sure they are now.
Blizzard made a good system for silencing those that don’t comply with the ones they don’t agree with.
Not when you first start out trying to get geared and have it then two days later an unannounced nerf. Galvanized spark in three sets of gear nerf thank you made it almost impossible to do the quests ,then have to adjust for it took longer. Yeah, sure quality reward oh yahoo to that matter.
Who are you to decide on anything about rewards?
You are posting on a level 110.
“But my main is in Method and were blah blah blah” right?
Why Are you even droning on about something you don’t even currently take part in?
Again its across the board. Its a piece everyone can use in the raid but not in mythic plus.
If anything mythic raiders are shooting themselves in the foot because they would benefit from it the most lol.
This nerf might throw off progression for raiders in its current design.
Its a % based increase, therefore mythic level players will benefit the most in world content as well as the raid lol.
Are you going to answer the question or just attack me?
I think it’s pretty clear that absurd extrapolation is what you’re using to conclude that we might as well move to a Diablo type loot system, which is by definition a slippery slope argument. So no, that wasn’t used incorrectly, you just don’t like being called on using slippery slopes as an argument. It’s funny but anytime you use one and I point it out your response is “nuh uh!” which is mildly entertaining in and of itself.
So a false dichotomy logically sound as long as it’s done as a leading question? Lol.
Ah, this has been fun but work calls, back later.
ok ok, benthic gear is in no way shape or form a threat to mythic raiders going for a short lived world first.
The entire wow population shouldn’t have to suffer because a few people found a cheap way to blow through all the bosses on day one.
The sins of the few affecting the many.
Hyperbole is not a slippery slope no matter how you twist it.
No, a false dichotomy only exists independently.
If I make the statement “Your choices appear to be X and Y. However, I believe that somewhere there is room for Z”
The “Your choices appear to be X and Y” is not a false dichotomy.
You keep using logical fallacies incorrectly, I’m kind of embarrassed for you.
I’m still talking to you
These are real people replying
Makes you want to plug in a AI to the forums ,like we had 3 months ago.LOL
I don’t believe it is. I just hate that Blizzard keeps negating the previous content because of their terrible itemization design.
I don’t think anyone here is making the argument that people should suffer.
As a thought experiment, let’s imagine that Blizzard buffed Benthic gear up to ilvl 450, made is super strong, better than all content in the game EXCEPT they then buffed Mythic gear to be ilvl 500.
So now you have Benthic gear for everyone who doesn’t raid and special more powerful gear for only those people that do.
It that situation no one suffers.
That’s what itemization used to be like. You were perfectly capable of rolling through content in your heroic level gear, or dungeon blues and raiders used gear that was slightly better to do slightly more challenging content.
You know how long it would take to max out a full set of benethic gear?
Woof no thanks.
So proper progression is now suffering in WoW? Learning new things on GD Forums today
One special problem, benthic gear is plain azerite gear in the world has no benetfit to the player other than that. For raiding to as aspect only to raiding so it is balanced in it’s own way.
Ya, I have no desire to grind that out but people will do it.
I wonder how many manapearls you can grind in a day.
“proper progression” ?
